This hostel was an awesome experience. The work and odd jobs around the hostelallowed me to learn and try new things I had never done before. It has a very homely feel thanks to Kerrie and Nathan and of course the dogs! Kerrie and Nathan are both very generous and understanding to accommodate you and Wollongong has a lot of hidden gems!

My experience at the hostel has honestly exceeded my expectations. the hostelis beautiful and quirky and feels more like a home than a hostel. I have immensely enjoyed the proximity to the beach, the rockpools nearby, the pups that live on the property, and the fire pit. The majority of folks are between 18-25 but as 30 year old I still felt accepted. And I can thank the guests and hosts for keeping me sane when the youth youthed a little too hard. Big shout out to the hosts Kerry and Nathan. The have been gracious, kind, and communicative hosts.

I had the most incredible time volunteering at the hostel! Kerrie and Nathan were the kindest, most understanding and thoughtful hosts. The work was very manageable and it allowed me to bond with my fellow volunteers. Wollongong was such a great small town to live in for a month and it was truly the people that made it feel like home.

This was one of my first hostel experiences, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous. But from the moment I arrived Kerrie and Nath made me feel completely at home. The atmosphere they've created feels like family. Their kindness, attentiveness and genuine care for every guest truly set this place apart. Whether it was offering helpful directions around Wollongong, sharing local events, or simply taking the time to chat and connect, they were always there with open hearts and helping hands. I got the chance to build long lasting friendships so thank u for everything, hope to come back and visit!

My time in Wollongong was a complete success. Kerrie and Nathan are so welcoming. It felt like one big family with all the Volunteers the whole time. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for everything

I had a really fun time at the hostel. It's a really cool space with a fun and friendly atmosphere. I do think that more proactive steps should be taken to protect the young women in the hostel, but overall I had a really fun time and felt really grateful to be there. The location is beautiful and there's so much to do. :)

I had the best time at the hostel! Everything was exactly as I imagined and even better because of so many great people I met there! Kerrie and Nathan are great hosts, who know what they're doing and are very considerate of the volunteers. I already miss Wollongong and I hope I'll see everyone again! 🫶🏻

I spent a total of 4 weeks in Wollongong and absolutely loved it. Kerry and her son Nathan were incredibly welcoming and flexible when it came to the work, which made settling in so easy. The dynamic with the team was amazing and I'm definitely going to miss my time here.

I had a vreat time at Keiraleigh hostel! Kerri and Nathan were so welcoming and accomodating, and you directly feel part of the staff team. Work was easy and not too heavy, and you could decide what to do every single day. You would work for 6 days from 10 to 13, and get one day off, which leaves you with more than enough time to explore the beached and mountains!
