This hostel is without a doubt one of the best you could stay in in Germany. The city offers quite a few hidden gems and the location of Leipzig is perfect to further explore other cities in Germany or even other nearby countries. The hostel staff is very nice, it is impossible to have a better manager than Hannah who is very understanding with everything. Great experience, I hope to return one day!

I had a truly amazing volunteering experience at the hostel in Leipzig. Right from day one, Hannah made me feel welcomed by showing me the tasks and responsibilities as a volunteer. The work hours are very fair, organized, and there is always room for flexibility. Also, as a volunteer at the hostel, you get discounted accommodation in hostels around Europe. The best part of this volunteering experience was all the like-minded volunteers and staff members of the Hostel I met, I felt comfortable from day one :) Thank you for making my stay in Leipzig so meaningful and rewarding! 😊

My stay at Five the hostel was really great. The staff was super friendly, and from the start you feel very welcomed and included. The hours are respected and the tasks that are asked of you are really easy and most of the time fun because you will almost always be working with someone else. The city itself is nice, although you'll have a lot of downtime, so if you're good with figuring out how to spend said time, then it really won't be a problem. Huge thanks to Hannah (who is the one who manages the volunteers), she is really nice and professional, and really helps make everyone feel welcome

I had such a nice experience! The staff is very welcoming and loving, as well as the other volunteers and managers. Very good working hours as well, so perfect if you wanna study or explore on the side. Leipzig could for me be a bit boring as a city sometimes, but as long as you know how to handle a lot of time off you will have a great time :) could not recommend enough!

Amazing. It was my first volunteering experience and couldn't have asked for better. Hannah (the responsible for the volunteers) was amazing since the beginning and super flexible with days off which gives you the possibility to go visit around. The work is not demanding at all, really simple tasks and the few hours you're asked to work per day go by really fast. Great facilities in the hostel and all the volunteers were super cool. 100% reccomend

I had a really good time in Five the hostel ! The tasks were easy and work hours were always respected. Everything is well organized. The housekeeping team and the volunteers are really friendly. Special thanks to Hannah for welcoming us and being so nice and available. I definitely recommend volunteering here :) Thank you again !

The hostel is right in the city centre so it is very easy to get around from there. The work is simple and the set hours are absolutely respected and also very flexible. Hannah is very kind and always tries to meet everyone's needs!!:). However 5element to me feels more like a hotel than a hostel so you won't find the typical hostel atmosphere (at least in winter). But you have a lot of free time and Leipzig has a lot to offer! :)

Great place to spend a month, although Leipzig is more lively at certain months of the year. Staff is friendly and the other volunteers were fun to hang out with.

I had a great experience at the hostel! The hostel has a great location and good facilities. The staff at the hostel are all so nice and welcoming, and the tasks are easy to learn. I would recommend the stay to other volunteers:))

Great experience! The hostel is super nice and comfortable. Your job requires just a few hours for week and tasks are so simple. You will have a lot of free time to explore the city and travel, really recommended!
