Very nice place! I stayed for 2 months and it was a very good experience. The tasks are simple and you have a lot of free time. The hostel is in the city center, so everything is close, you can go everywhere walking.

First of all I want to say I met some amazing people. For sure the experience taught me to be adaptable: it's not all puppy dogs and rainbows living with other 9 guys in the same bedroom, or having to share the bathroom and the kitchen with the guests. The work it's okay, I mostly enjoyed the social activities. I had a lot of free time to study or to visit/travel. Leipzig is a little bit boring, especially when it rains (that happens a lot!).

Hi Gaia, sorry I didn't get a chance to write a review, so I'll write it here!
Gaia is a great addition to your team! She is friendly and responsible. She helped with cleaning, housekeeping and hosting events for guests. She cooked dinners and also made crepes in the bar. I happily recommend Gaia to other hosts. Thanks Gaia!

What I enjoyed most about my time at the hostel was bonding with the other 9 volunteers. Everyone was so sweet and came from places all over the world. Hannah was very flexible with my hours and time off- however there was often more work than time scheduled which meant I often worked outside of my scheduled hours. Most of the staff was very friendly- however there are a few negative staff members who impacted the quality of my time at the hostel. Overall, Leipzig was a cool city and had lots to see/do/ and eat.

Mi experiencia en términos de condiciones del alojamiento fueron excelentes, me quedé en una habitación solo para mujeres voluntarias de 4 camas y muy espaciosa, las duchas y baños impecables al igual que la cocina común. Los turnos se respetan y son muy flexibles si tienes alguna preferencia, el desayuno está incluido y es muy completo. En cuanto a la ciudad es un poco aburrida, todo cierra temprano y el ambiente en el hostal es muy familiar por lo que si vas buscando fiesta o conocer gente viajera es difícil.

This was the longest volunteer experience I've had so far, and I really enjoyed it! The work is very simple, takes very few hours, and Hannah was always very considerate if we had any special requests regarding the job. The volunteers and housekeeping team, at least when I was there, was mainly Spanish-speaking, and we had a great time with lots of laugh. There are two rooms for the volunteers and they are in the hostel itself, which is very comfortable.The hostel is in the centre of Leipzig, very beautiful city that I really enjoyed. Thank you very very much for having me!

I had a great time at Five the hostel in Leipzig! The hours are just like it says around 10-15 hours a week, so there was a lot of time to work on other things or check out the city. Expectations are clear and the schedule is really flexible, which I really appreciated. Five the hostel is a hostel/hotel, so it wasn't as social as typical hostels and you don't meet or mingle with the guest too much. However, the team of volunteers were great and I really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with so many travelers from such different backgrounds!

My experience at the hostel was really great! The work isn't too hard or time consuming so you get a lot of flexibility to explore or plan trips, you're right in the middle of Leipzig which is a super beautiful city and everyone was really nice overall! If you have the opportunity to volunteer at this hostel I highly recommend it 🎉🥰

I loved my stay at the hostel! The working hours were as agreed, the hostels location is super central and convenient, the days off were flexible so it was easy to plan trips and activities and everyone from the team was welcoming and friendly!

¡Linda experiencia!! Este fue mi primer voluntariado y no pude encontrar mejor lugar que 5Elements en Leipzig :D. Todo el staff es muy amable y las tareas no son nada difíciles! Por cierto, la ciudad es muy económica y linda, lleno de parques, lagos, museos y bares. Tendrás mucho tiempo para disfrutarlos. Los súper recomiendo!! Gracias a toda la familia de 5Elements.

The hostel is amazing! The location is awesome, the hostel is beautiful and the staff is great (Simona, the housekeeping crew, everyone is nice, friendly and helpful)! The working hours are less than what I expected and the job is chill.. it is the best volunteer experience I had so far and I recommend to everyone! If anyone has any questions, just ask 🤗
