My experience at the hostel was amazing! All of the staff were awesome and incredibly friendly and welcoming. The evening was also always a good environment to talk to and meet all of the guests coming through. The hours and days off were also always respected. Overall, I would totally recommend volunteering here!

I had a great time at the hostel! All the staff and managers were great and so welcoming, and so were all the volunteers there! There were also so many great guests that came through the hostel, and it really helped make the whole experience one to remember We had so many amazing and fun nights fueled by the free rakia, and also got to have a great time exploring Shkoder and the surrounding areas

My time at the hostel was so special!! The staff and volunteers are amazing, I'm so glad to have met them. Hours are respected, and the work is very simple. Be prepared to drink your body weight's worth in rakia. Shkoder is the perfect place to volunteer in - you'll have plenty of time to explore the town and surrounds.

Volunteering at the hostel had potential, but some poor leadership made it frustrating. The tasks were simple and the vibe was social, but the volunteer leader lacked maturity and basic respect for the shared space—bringing discomfort and tension. There was no hygiene, no boundaries, and little guidance. When I injured myself, I wasn't met with care, only pressure to find a replacement or work anyway. Some staff were also rude, especially in the kitchen, and management seemed indifferent throughout. I met really nice people there but unfortunately left before I wanted because of some behavior

Thanks for your time with us. We chose not to leave a bad review but want to give context. Clear guidance was provided, yet tasks were often incomplete and shifts shorter than agreed. The social aspect is key to the role, and we always treated you with kindness. We covered tasks when needed and never asked more than agreed. Despite the challenges, we thank you for your efforts and wish you all the best.

What an awesome experience. Met so many cool people, this hostel brings in the proper outdoorsy backpackers so everyone is extremely chill and easy to get along with. The managers are super respectful of hours, you get lots of free time to explore shkoder and the surroundings. Cheers to all the raki shots, will definitely have to be back!

My time at the hostel was amazing! The team is so welcoming and Angelo is a great manager who is very accommodating and easy going, The work is super easy and consists of helping with dinner and breakfast prep and socialising with guests in the evening. Couldn't recommend this more!

Had an awesome time at the hostel!!! Angelo and silver are super chill and flexible and all the staff are amazing and friendly!! The work is easy and light, mostly just being social and making sure the guests are having a good time :)) totally recommend volunteering here! Will miss everyone!

I made a lot of great friends at the hostel, and Shkoder is an amazing place to explore. I didn't realise it was a party hostel, but no complaints from me for free rakia ;). The work was really light and there is a lot to do around town. Angelo and Silver are just sweethearts, same as all the staff who made me really feel at home and comfortable. Defintely will be back to visit! Miss you guys already!!

Great volunteer experience and welcoming workers. Super high vibes every day and great if your keen to party most days. Days off are flexible and will allow you to take multiple days at once to do the hikes and visit other places. The work is easy going especially with multiple volunteers.

Had a really lovely time volunteering at the hostel! everyone was super nice and shkodër is a really cool place to visit. definitely recommend!!! :)
