Me encantó mi experiencia en la casa, sin duda si algún día vuelvo a Seoul me encantaría volver a apoyar. Existen dos turnos, uno de 11 a 3/4 y el otro de 4 a 10, en el primero es de limpieza y el segundo de recepción, a mi me tocó estar en ambos y en cada uno las responsabilidades que tienes son un diferentes. En cuanto a los días trabajados y descansados, creo que es un buen intercambio. Generalmente los descansos no cambian a menos que se requiera así que sin problemas puedes hacer planes. El lugar está cerca a 10 min caminando del tren y a tres del autobús.

Hugh is really nice ! He helped me with all the things I needed as soon as he could. I'm truly grateful for that 🙌 The hostel is ok and the work hours as well. Sometimes it felt more like a job rather than a volunteer and the bedroom for volunteers is in the basement. Just keep this in mind. It's in a nice area, where you have plenty of parks to do exercise and have spend time under the trees. But, the hostel doesn't have any common area, so it's difficult to meet people and gather between the volunteers as well. It would be perfect having a common space for get to know the others! 🫶

Fue una experiencia agradable, las otras voluntarias fueron un amor. Si bien no pudimos compartir mucho entre voluntarios cuando se podía era agradable. Los anfitriones siempre estuvieron dispuestos a ayudar en caso de que algo nos hiciera falta y eso se agradece. La comunicación era bastante sencilla con ellos.

A nice experience at the guest house. The staff is really nice and the host flexible. Before applying here, be ready to not react bad if the host asks you a picture after a task as a proof of work There's a small shared kitchen (really cold inside during winter) but it permits you to save money and cook by yourself (the only common space) I had a shared room with my friend / roommate, it was really small but enough for 2. If you stay more than 3 weeks, I hope you're not claustrophobic because there's no windows Thank you Lia and Hugh for welcoming me and for giving me this experience ❤️

I enjoyed my stay and volunteering experience with the guest house team. The managers are caring and communicate well their expectations and provide a good training to make you feel comfortable with the job. The work itself is simple and easily manageable and there is plenty of time left to enjoy the life that Seoul has to offer. Definitely worth it.

This was the best voluntary work that I could ever ask for. Everything was perfect from my first day in Seoul to my last one. The work was easy and not tiring at all, we had enough days off to visit the city and the vibe was immaculate. Hugh always made sure that everything we needed was provided to us and Lia did an amazing job teaching us how do to the tasks correctly. They are both the sweetest and most caring persons ever. They made me feel at home and I can never thank them enough for everything that they did to us. I'll definitely come back next year !! Thank you the guest house

Volunteering here was an amazing first experience! The work was fair, not too tiring (except for the stairs, haha), and the bosses were fantastic, always kind and supportive. Lia runs a great system, staying practical and motivating even when mistakes happen. I had plenty of free time to explore South Korea and meet incredible people, both at the hostel and outside. I'm definitely coming back next year! Thank you so much, Hugh and Lia, for your kindness and hospitality. I look forward to helping improve the guesthouse with you!
