Live an amazing off-grid experience close to the sea!

This experience was not what I expected and that is why I left early. You are not going to be with a group of volunteers but maybe one or two. Keep in mind that the finca is very far from any village or beach and that you will need a car or a ride from Chris to leave the finca. The tasks that I got to do was a lot of cleaning and watering the plants and before hand I expected to learn more about gardening or maybe working with wood like the profile suggested. But the food is really great and Chris is a great cook. It was also very lovely to have my own caravan.

I should also say it clearly, we are not a hostel and we are not a place to necessarily find a friend, but all of this has already happened here and depends on your personal energy.

All is written in our profile. For example, that you can not walk to the beach.

You missed that, but well, we are all different and we all grow in life.

Estuvimos a gusto y la experiencia fue buena! Chris se portó muy bien con nosotros y no nos faltó nada. Lo único es que es más lejos de lo que pensábamos y no hay conexión con la civilización por tu propia cuenta. Lamentamos no haber podido quedarnos hasta el final por un imprevisto. Saludos a Chris y Schlappohr, esperamos que se convierta en una estrella!

What a wonderful little finca, the perfect place to relax, enjoy the nature of Spain, and get to know the local culture. Chris and Anette are wonderful people and they've managed to create a very cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Olives are fun!

Este fue mi primer voluntariado, y ha dejado las expectativas muy altas. Christian y Annette son encantadores, tienen una vibra muy positiva. Las tareas dependen de la época del año, en mi caso (sep-nov) he ayudado a recolectar olivas y a un par de proyectos de taller (un techado y una pared). Experiencia súper recomendable. En mi tiempo libre he hecho de todo: clases de yoga y meditación con Annette, paseos por el campo, conectar con el resto de Worldpackers, desconetar del mundo... En definitiva, he tenido una experiencia EXCELENTE. Una grata sorpresa encontrarme con esta oportunidad.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y viví una experiencia hermosa! El lugar es maravilloso y todos son muy buenas personas. Pasamos hermosos momentos compartiendo juntos. Chris es adorable, atento y muy alegre! El horario de trabajo era muy cómodo y las tareas fueron cambiando con los días, y eso lo hizo dinámico y divertido. Naturaleza alrededor en todos lados, un ambiente muy tranquilo y con buena energía. GRACIAS CHRIS! Sin dudas volveré a visitar a las amistades que hice♥

I had an amazing time at Christians Finca! I really enjoyed the work as well as the people and the tranquillity of the surrounding nature! On the weekends we did some excursions (hiking, beach, mushroom hunting) and we also went to an event organized by some people of the area which I really appreciated as it allowed me to get some insights into their way of life. Not only did I meet amazing people, I also learned many new things! So I would definitely recommend this experience!

Fue mi primer voluntariado y la experiencia fue increíble. Aprendí sobre cultivar de manera sostenible y orgánica. Las cenas eran riquísimas y las compartíamos como en familia, todos ayudando y cooperando. El lugar es bonito alejado de todo el bullicio de la ciudad, ideal para desconectar y reencontrarte contigo mismo. Gracias por todo lo vivido :)

Estuve 1 mes en la finca de Chris y de verdad que me encantó la experiencia. El trabajo fue variado, aprendí a cuidar el huerto, hicimos paseos y eventos los fines de semana. Muchas gracias Chris!!!
