I had a lovely time on the finca. I was new to gardening and the other tasks but after a bit of learning they became enjoyable and sort of therapeutic. I enjoyed the hands on elements and the break from technology. The hours are respected and it is a perfect work/life balance. In your spare time you can go walking around and there's a lot of beautiful scenery to enjoy. Christian is also an amazing cook and all the meals were so good! Could not recommend more - a great relaxing, enjoyable and engaging time.

A good experience to be in the mountains away from the city, you can hike and go to the downtown on weekends. Finca El the project is a peaceful place, the facilities are excellent. The handyman work I did was great and I spent a good time doing it.

Fergus is a nice guy. A pleasure to have him around. Always willing to learn new things. He helped us with different work around the farm. Thanks Fergus

Great spot in the middle of olíve farm. Each volunteer has private accomodation, I loved the yoga house, the view, nature. It is the best place to relax from the city noise.

The project Taraioles is a project based on olives trees and self-sufficiency. But from what I seen, Chris enjoys sharing his farm and there's some things thought about collective life (pool, yoga house, the vans for sleeping). Quite away from other towns. Probably the work experience will change based on the season, but at the time I went it was mostly repairing stuff and some handywork (We had an unusual bad weather that month in Spain). The workload isn't heavy, sometimes Chris would teach if he can, but it's usually autonomous based on what you know. I would really like to go again!

This place is amazing. It has been the best volunteering I've done. Chris is so kind and always look for you to be comfortable, the people I found here were incredible. The tasks are fun, you can enjoy a lot your free time, and the food is one of the best here. Thank you Chris for creat this Finca♥️

The hours here are fair and you get plenty of free time. There lots to do in the finca like trampolining and slack line however the finca is further from the nearest town than shown. Chris is great at making everyone feel welcome and the food is excellent!

This experience was not what I expected and that is why I left early. You are not going to be with a group of volunteers but maybe one or two. Keep in mind that the finca is very far from any village or beach and that you will need a car or a ride from Chris to leave the finca. The tasks that I got to do was a lot of cleaning and watering the plants and before hand I expected to learn more about gardening or maybe working with wood like the profile suggested. But the food is really great and Chris is a great cook. It was also very lovely to have my own caravan.

I should also say it clearly, we are not a hostel and we are not a place to necessarily find a friend, but all of this has already happened here and depends on your personal energy.

All is written in our profile. For example, that you can not walk to the beach.

You missed that, but well, we are all different and we all grow in life.

I wish you all the best.

Desumano!

A Worldpackers está ciente do incidente.
