I've spend over than 10 weeks at the home it was an amazing experience! Being in contact with nature everyday, spending time with other volunteers and with the hosts was better than I thought. Debbie and Daniel are so nice, kind and respectful and they really care about us. I'm sad I have to leave but I hope I can see them again soon :)

The 6 weeks have passed so fast! The exchange of work was always fair considering all the food, the treats, and the wine we receive from Debbie and Daniel. Apart from work, we could share beautiful moments, like going for a day on the beach, making a huge bonfire night, or share delicious meals. It was really nice to meet Esme and spend some time taking care of her and playing scrabble (even if I could never win). After this time at La Maison du Vert, I have learned to be more conscious about the food that I consume, and how to cook variety of the home dishes. I will miss the love of the cats!

Anything I can say will fall short in describing my weeks in Ticheville. I have only words of thanks to Debbie, Daniel and Esme. They are truly wonderful people. From the first moment I felt at home and they made me feel part of their family. Working hours and breaks were always respected. If you are looking for great times with great people then don't doubt, Ticheville is the place to be! You won't be disappointed. After six weeks I leave a part of my heart in their home and taking with me a friendship that will last a lifetime. Thank you for everything, I will never forget you.

I applied for this experience with the idea of staying 6 weeks, and ended up staying more than 10, which I think that in itself is a testament to how much I enjoyed it. Debbie, Daniel and Esme totally make you feel welcomed and at home. Plus, the place is gorgeous, I had a private room all for myself, and they are really generous providing you with everything you will need. I also had the best time with the other volunteers! I only wouldn't recommend it to loners, or people with other projects that need plenty of alone time. Thank D,D &E you for everything shared and learnt. Until next time

My stay was amazing!Debbie, Daniel and Esme make this place feel like home.They always make sure that we have fun, this place is definitely social,lots of lovely volunteers, and they often organize movie nights or dinner together.Also I had my own cozy room. Not only is it beautiful and fun here, but it is also a great place to stay during covid.They make sure everything is safe and there are plenty of fun outdoor activities to do. :) I learned so much here, from gardening to cooking amazing the home food. I will definetly come back and highly recommend this place to others!!

It's not about the place, it's not about the work, it's not about the food, it's about the hosts: Debbie, Daniel and Esme made my experience special. The rest was lovely but just a plus. They made me feel like I found a new family and a new home and that's why I'm coming back someday. I recommend this experience regardless of your age or your passions. I would also like to talk about the great travelers I met but they won't be there. If you want to find great people go there and be great , because that part of the story depends on you. You are the travelers.

What are you looking for ? Having fun? Living with a lovely family? Met new friends from around the world? Learning more? about food, gardening, juicing and English ? Playing music ? Living in peace with nature ? Then Ticheville is the right place for you. Just an advice, 6 weeks is too short.. don't plan anything so you can stay longer ☺️ enjoy

We had a wonderful time in this place, due to the pandemic Debbie and Daniel welcomed us with open arms, I learned a lot about gardening, cooking new dishes, and I greatly improved my English, it was an incredible experience that I will take to life. Thanks

In the reason of Covid-19 I still in La Maison du Vert, I have to say that Debbie and Daniel have been amazing letting us stay and I am really thankful for that. I learned lots of things in here, about gardening, veganism, english, cuisine, but mainly about love. Everything in here is about it. Love between people, love to nature and animals, respect to food. Here I had the chance to grow and reconnect with myself. I've been travelling for 10 months and this by far was the best experience I ever had. So, I just need to say that if you have the chance as a volunteer or guest: just come!
