I had a great time at the home! I would have stayed longer if I could! Debbie was really welcoming, we had plenty of things to do in the home, with the animals and other bits in the house. Debbie is really trying to create a bond with the volunteers and it makes the experience so special, feels like being part of the family! The cats were adorable and I miss being there already! I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

First of all Debbie is the loveliest! She's so kind and warm and you'll have lots of fun chatting with her and sharing your life's experiences. She makes you feel like a friend rather than an employee. Ticheville is cute but definitely quite quiet. I'd say a month was just enough for me. If you're into nature it's a great place to connect. the home is stunning!!! And endlessly huge. It's lovely checking up on the vegetables and chicken and harvesting and cooking your meals with it ultimately. It's the perfect place to calm down and disconnect from your otherwise busy life.

This was a good and easy first Worldpackers experience to have. The area was very remote and pretty. Did not have to spend much while there, and even went on a couple fun excursions.

Debbie was very welcoming, it was a pleasure to get to know her & experience how much fun and light she can bring to your time together. They were always respectful of work times vs free time. We also really enjoyed getting to meet people from all over the world & learn about their travels too :) eye-opening experience!

What a wonderful experience! I feel so lucky to have stayed in Normandie with Deb & Dan and to have met other international travellers. The housing is really homely and you will have everything you need. The work was ok, a fair bit of house keeping and restaurant work that I wasn't expecting, but nothing you won't be able to handle. I loved the social side of things, going on day trips to the coast, and cooking the home food. Highly recommend'

I had a great time at la maison verde! Debbie was so welcoming and friendly and made the experience very pleasant! I loved working in the kitchen and around the home i got to explore and learn so much about the home cooking! Deb and Dan are great with Organisation but still flexible and very generous. I loved that we could use veggies and herbs from the home it made cooking a lot of fun! Would recommend this experience to anyone:)

Fue mi primer voluntariado y la verdad es que no pudo haber sido más perfecto. El lugar es hermoso y cerca de muchos pueblitos franceses. El contacto con la naturaleza es diario e impactante. También aprendí un montón sobre cómo aplicar una dieta vegana y lo rico que se puede comer sin necesidad de productos de origen animal. ¡excelente experiencia de vida!

Our experience with Deborah and Daniel was incredible. We had a good reception, we spent weeks learning about the different tasks in the place, which connect you with nature. The house was super good, the rooms, bathroom and kitchen are comfortable. Food is always available, you will never lack for anything and very importantly you learn to make various the home dishes with your housemates. We highly recommend this place to volunteer so that you can learn a lot about the culture and share good times.
