My experience at the hostel was just great, you feel welcomed from the very first moment. The owners and staff put a lot of effort to keep the volunteers entertained with many different activities and to create an environment where they can feel like family. The work is not difficult and since there are different types of shifts, it is not too repetitive either. They will also try their best to fulfill your preferences about shifts and free days. It's not a surprise that many volunteers come back after the first experience. Thanks for everything :) I hope to see you all again!

Being part of the hostel has been one of the best experiences I have had and I will always cherish my time here. The hardest part was definitely leaving. The best thing about this experience was without a doubt the great fellowship and family feeling among all the volunteers and staff. Everyone was super cool and Tilburg was just the perfect place to be. Here I want to give a big shoutout to Julia for the great work she does to make all the volunteers feel at home. I'll really miss all the game nights. Thanks for everything! I hope to come back as soon as possible! :)

The hostel surpassed all my expectations. About the work: simple, just as agreed, flexible, and also fun! You'll learn a lot about the hostel life and meet so many people from all backgrounds. About the team: Koen and Marion (the owners) are really kind and considerate people. They'll listen to you and always try to make you feel comfortable. I will definitely miss Sam laughing hard at some random stuff, Masha and her 50 Cent songs, Bas losing to me at pool, hanging out with Julia, Sammy and all the interns that complete this beautiful team! This place is my second home now.

Pick your ass up, pack your bagpack and go to the hostel - you won't regret it!!! Work is easy and good explained - you gonna get it 100%! Leaving this place was one of my most difficult goodbyes in my life, because of the family feeling and friendships which I made there. and yeah, I'm coming back for sure, see you soon❤️

I had a great time in Tilburg. The volunteers are clearly cared for here and treat you like family. The work is fair and well organized amongst staff and volunteers. I'm glad the hostel was my first work/stay experience because of how easy they make everything for your when you arrive. I hope to be returning soon to help with all the fun group outings and events they host at the hostel. Thank you Koen and Marion and all the interns who were willing to give mutual respect to all of us volunteers.

Thanks to Koen, Marion, Bas, Julia, and everyone else at the hostel for such an amazing experience! Tasks were as described and often fun, and the different events throughout my stay really helped keep things exciting. It was amazing to experience all this with both the long-term employees and the shorter-term volunteers (everyone is amazing). What a way to see the Netherlands and what a great Hostel. Already thinking of visiting for Carnival or Winter Fiske :)

It was my first volunteering experience and I'm glad it was at the hostel. I spent a good time here, I grew a lot as a person, I learn new things, met amazing people and had a lot of fun. The hostel is very cool and has a very cosy space. We volunteers are responsible for making the breakfasts, cleaning and tidying all the rooms and bathrooms, and bartending and closing the bar at night. For the work we do, I think the volunteers deserve a better quality meal. It was a bit difficult for me because I have some intolerances and I'm not used to eating sandwiches for lunch. Thank you the hostel❤️

It was such a great experience volunteering in this hostel, thank you Bas for accepting my application, Koen and Marion you guys are lovely I had a fun time with y'all and count on me next year because I'm coming back!! My time in the hostel has been such a good one. This has been the experience of my lifetime, I met really good friends for life, experience the Dutch life, had so much fun, learn many new incredible things and made many memories that will always make me feel good and grateful about coming to the Netherlands. I would have Never imagined that this experience could change and better my life forever but now I'm the happiest person knowing that every second here was worthy and help me to grow as a person. Thanks the hostel family for opening your heart to this Colombian guy ❤️
