An amazing experience with amazing people

My original plan was to stay in the Center for a month and I stayed for almost 4! I feel in love with the place and the people there, It felt like being at home with family! the experience is challenging and it makes you grow and change, I would recommend it for anyone who wants to learn about themselves and others. I would definitely come back many times 🤍🤍🤍

It's a good volunteering if you are on a spiritual journey and if you wanna learn a bit about buddhism. The center is surrounded by the Center and it's a good opportunity to meet new people and learn new things, I really met a lot of good friends there. The tasks were simple and not hard to do, except working in the vegetable garden during the summer season. Thanks to the Center I discovered what I enjoy the most is living in community

Hola viajeros/as! He estado 6 semanas y me hubiera gustado quedarme hasta finales de agosto. Pero, ¿que pasó? Tanto los voluntarios como los residentes son un encanto, pero en cuanto a la dirección del centro deja mucho que desear. Existen reglas y responsabilidades solamente para algunos. Por lo tanto, habría que exponerlas claramente para todos/as. Ejemplo: prohibido tener medicinas en las habitaciones. Después, en cuanto a la comida, la merienda/cena hay demasiado azúcar para que sea saludable. No hay Wi-Fi. Y según mi opinión, falta más atención y trato profesional hacia los residentes.

We gladly respond to the comment of the volunteer Marina, whom we thank for the contribution. Medication cannot be kept in the room as a form of security for everyone, but we can keep it ourselves under the directions of the people who need them. Living in the middle of a forest and thus enjoying this green paradise, we have no WiFi because no repeater transmits. But it is very easy to connect with a personal hotspot. The food is always fresh and wholesome and there is always a choice of sweet or savory. We are considered a completely innovative community with respect to the problem of mental illness and in 6 years we have helped more than 2000 people regain their smiles. This is thanks to the wonderful volunteers who spend time and energy for others. After all, one only has to read the reviews we have received over the years to understand how much the work done by volunteers is appreciated .Sometimes it is necessary to start from one's own difficulties and take note of them in order to build a better and more altruistic world, where one goes beyond one's own personal pleasure

The Center was my first experience of living in a community. It is a really nice place, the people are very welcoming and the diversity of age and nationality is amazing. Living in a community differs a lot from what I knew before. However, after getting to know the routines it was a truly enriching experience and I enjoyed it a lot! A big thank you to all the people I have met there for being so great and making my time in the Center and the Center itself so precious and special!

I love to stay in the Center. There is something very special in that place, it is welcoming and I felt very comfortable. The volunteers and residents are very friendly, always willing to help and Dony is a great woman with big heart. I really learned a meaning of community there. I stayed there 22 days. I liked the jobs, it's very flexible. And also the meditations with the Monks are unique. The place is in beautiful the Center, where I enjoyed hiking.

Como mi primera experiencia en una comunidad, desde el primer día me sentí bienvenida y parte de la familia, jugamos juegos de mesa, comimos pizza, reímos y hablamos 4 idiomas distintos en una misma habitación, bailamos, cantamos y mucho más. Resalto que fue una experiencia realmente enriquecedora, aprendí sobre meditación, yoga, cocina, espiritualismo, también sobre la importancia de la comunicación y el trabajo en equipo. Amé cada momento junto a mis nuevos hermanos y hermanas. Deseo que el Centro siga siendo un lugar maravilloso y mejore cada día más. ¡A presto famiglia!🥰

El centro es un lugar absolutamente increíble, llegas e instantáneamente eres recibida con amabilidad, te sientes parte de la comunidad al instante, parte de la familia, todes están dispuestes a ayudar y a escuchar, es un lugar perfecto para aprender a vivir más tranquilamente y en comunidad, solo me llevo cosas bonitas del centro y de las personas que conocí aquí, es un lugar maravilloso que recomendaría a ojo cerrado a cualquiera que busque tranquilidad, aprendizaje constante, descubrirse a sí misme más y además conocer un montón de personas bonitas que están en la misma sintonía.

I have really enjoyed my time here. If I didn't already have a flight, I'd stay another month! I have met incredible people and built friendships that I know will last. There is a true feeling of community and family. I have loved learning about Italian culture. I definitely recommend this experience! 💚🇮🇹👍🏻

Me encantó cada parte de esta comunidad, en especial sus integrantes que muchos de ellos se convirtieron en amigos. Hay un genial ambiente en el que el respeto y la tranquilidad se hacen notables, perfecto para mejorarse a uno mismo en muchos ámbitos. Por estas y muchas más razones me quede mas de lo acordado y pienso volver.

Diego is a kind young man, always smiling. He came to our centre directly from his country for his first volunteering experience. Like everyone else, he needed guidance and help to get into the volunteer mindset, but Diego was able to put himself on the line with courage. It was nice to see him grow and question himself and we are sure that he learnt a lot for future volunteering experiences. Gracias Diego!
