My life is not gonna be the same after my three months in Oxford. All the people I met, things that I learnt and experiences that I have, made me improve as a person. The hostel is very cozy and friendly, and there is always something going on. People are friendly and the tasks are easy to get. A really good thing is the flexibility during the volunteer, which allows you to explore the surroundings. I will always be grateful to Anthony, who gave me the opportunity to be part of the CB team. I will miss my time in there <3

CB Oxford is the best WP experience I've had. Since day 1 I felt included, supported and listed to. The hostel is relatively small, so it gets to feel more like a co-living experience. The tasks are pretty clear since the beginning; the manager really does his best to accommodate your plans with the schedule (just keep in mind that it's not always possible, so you'd need to be flexible); there're several volunteers, which makes it pretty fun too, and it's the best location. My experience was amazing and I'd highly recommend. I loved my time here and the people I now call dear friends 💛

As promised, I came back. My second time in here and I enjoyed as much as I could. It was different from my first time being more flexible: I became a lead and it gave me one more day free. Many events every week and I could lead the Bingo Night where many guests, including families, also enjoyed it. Socializing is one my main characteristics, and having normal and drinking games available made it better. Thanks to the all managers, mainly Anthony who enjoyed my playlist and jokes haha. I had a wonderful time at the hostel! Given it was my first Worldpackers experience, I was a bit nervous beforehand, but the volunteers, owners, and Anthony (the manager) were all friendly and helped create a welcoming environment. As for the work, the expectations were clear and the tasks weren't difficult. They were also good about scheduling and making sure we had time to explore Oxford and beyond. I spent many days wandering around the city and reading in parks, but I also enjoyed plenty of movie nights and pub quizzes with the other volunteers/guests. I would do it all again (:

Hi Emily, For some reason i cant leave you a review! Thank you for all your hard work over the last 3 months you were amazing. Always helping out when needed working extra shifts when things went wrong and you were amazing with the guests.

I truly felt accompanied and included since the first day. It was such a pleasure to be surrounded by open and beautiful volunteers and guests, all in a safe environment. I appreciated the international side of the hostel, but also what the city of Oxford has to offer. This first volunteering experience really motivates me to continue many others overseas. 🤞🏻Moreover, this experience can help you thrive and definitely give you more confidence. I'm glad to have lived these cherished moments there 🧡, and I'm sure, for any future volunteer who reads me, you will agree !

My time in Oxford with the hostel was truly amazing. The hostel is cozy and lively, the work easy to pick up, and there's always someone to help. A big thanks to our manager Anthony for his support and flexible scheduling, which let me explore the UK. With at least six volunteers, it's easy to make great friends. I will always be grateful for the lifelong friendships I made and all the memories we created, from TV & pub quiz nights to baking and road trips. Oxford itself, with its parks and historic charm, is the perfect place. I highly recommend this experience to anyone! :)

My experience at the hostel was great! Anthony, the manager, is very friendly, professional, and always flexible. He really helped me reach my goals of improving my English, allowing me to take classes every morning, and of learning more about hospitality. He's also very attentive to the relationships and needs of the volunteers helping to create a friendly and welcoming environment. Oxford is a great place to improve your English, thanks to its many schools and international environment. It's always lovely to take walks through the meadows, along the river, or in the city centre.

One of the best possible experiences you could have in Oxford, maybe even in all of England. Greg, Nate, and Anthony are very flexible with your schedule and allow for all sorts of traveling around the country. The work is so easy you can get it all figured out within a month. I've met some incredible people here who will be life long friends, both fellow volunteers and guests. This is accomplished by our game nights, Sunday dinners, movie nights, seeing the town, everything. I don't think there is anything I would change about my experience here. 1000% recommend to anyone willing to come!

My experience at the hostel was unforgettable! I learned a lot, met amazing people from all over the world, and improved my English in a truly impressive way. The tasks were light and the flexible schedule allowed me to explore Oxford and take trips. The city is beautiful and full of history. The hostel's atmosphere was welcoming from day one - I felt at home, made real friendships, and lived unforgettable moments. I'm very grateful to Anthony for his care and support during this journey - he truly made a difference. I highly recommend this experience and would love to return one day!
