I had a great time in Porto and the hostel. I had some issues getting along with other volunteers but I loved the full time staff and interacting with the guests. The manager, Lourenco, specially is amazing! He is super communicative even before your arrival, very welcoming and also great with recommending places for me. When I was there I had to find a tailor and urgent care and he gave really helpful tips. The staff there is amazing too and never mistreat you just because you are a volunteer.

This was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have found a better place. I'd highly recommend the hostel to anyone looking to volunteer. Whether you're experienced or it's your first time like me, you'll feel right at home here. From the moment I arrived, I felt immediately welcomed by the warm and friendly team. Everyone was so the hostel and genuinely excited to be there, which made the atmosphere incredibly positive. The tasks were simple yet rewarding, and I enjoyed every moment of contributing to something meaningful.

Mi experiencia de voluntariado en el hostel ha sido absolutamente increíble. El equipo es fantástico; todos son personas maravillosas, amables y siempre dispuestas a ayudar. Conocí a gente increíble, tanto otros voluntarios como huéspedes, y formé amistades que sin duda llevaré conmigo toda la vida. El ambiente relajado del hostel me hizo sentir como en casa. Además, la ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro de la ciudad. Recomiendo al 100% esta experiencia. No podría haber elegido un mejor lugar para mi primer voluntariado. ¡el hostel será siempre un lugar especial para mí!

I spent about a month and a half at the hostel and if I could have spent a year there, I would've. I absolutely loved the time I spent in Porto, with the other volunteers and the guests at the hostel. The shifts are so much fun (especially the night time bar shift) and such a great way to meet new people. This summer was one of the best I've ever had and I accredit it all to my time here!

My second time at the hostel and things couldn't have been better, I can call it my home. The host Lourenço is a five-star guy and you can count on him whenever you need. The location is the best you can have. Parties, beautiful experiences and incredible friendships, I experience all of this.

I don't think I will be able to describe in words my experience at the hostel! All of the people (fellow volunteers, the stuff and guests - were truly amazing) I have never met so many beautiful souls gathered at one place! I have found great caring friends that I will never forget, I have felt like home, created amazing memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. All people from the hostel became my family that will always stay in my heart! I will definitely come to see them as soon as I can! I am so grateful for this experience and recommend to join this magical place✨❤️

My time at the hostel was amazing!! The staff and other volunteers are some of the kindest I've encountered during my travels, and this exchange was a wonderful way to immerse myself in the Portuguese culture. Porto is a truly amazing city, and staying at the hostel made the experience even better. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone :)

Great hostel with amazing staff and volunteers! The work is very easy, during the breakfast shift you almost always finish early and the other shifts are pretty chill too. All the facilities are super clean, I felt super comfortable. Thank you for this amazing month!
