Annie and Peter, as well as their family and friends, are simply wonderful. If you look in the dictionary at “Welcoming”, you will find a picture of their lovely faces. The dance sessions are incredibly fun and if you like music, it is indeed the place to go ! Bookworms will also be very happy there. Annie and Pete regularly make sure that everything is all right and try to take you with them when they have to go to different cities like Galway or Westport so that you can visit other places than the extremely bustling town of Ballinrobe :p . Simply thank you for making me feel like family <3

After spending 3 weeks at the guest house you discover the value of many things that you already had forgotten or that you took for everyday. Annie and Peter are great and if you look at them you will see two people who really enjoy the company of friends and travelers. The dance classes and music sessions are spectacular and have given me fantastic moments on my journey. In this house you will never feel alone because there are always people coming and going with a multitude of different accents that will come in handy to improve your English. The guest house is an amazing place, I loved the time I spent there, Annie and Petter are amazing hosts, very kind, always very attentive and careful with the exchange students and always very patient to teach and explain about the language, the landscapes are beautiful, the wonderful companies, the work is super smooth, they are very patient in teaching the work, apart from the music, dance and singing that is always present, it was a unique experience, I will never forget, a watershed, being a great opportunity to get to know deeply into Irish culture and fall in love with it. Thank you so much

I recommend the guest house experience, with hosts Aniie&Peter. If you like nature, dancing, live music, quiet life and Recycling, you will like living near Ballinrobe. Every Wednesday and Saturday there is 2 hours of traditional Irish and non-Irish dancing and live music is common almost every day. Working hours and meal times are adhered to. If life allows me, I would like to come back again to the guest house.

Can't say anything other than INCREDIBLE, a very nice family, the people, the music, the dancing. I have learned a lot, I have connected and disconnected. A house with a lot of life. I would return without thinking. The work is very easy and passes quickly. Thank you very much Annie and Peter, I have had a great experience. ♥️♥️♥️

Annie and Peter couldn't be more amazing! I absolutely adore the two of them. They have a way of making you feel like you are immediately a part of the family, and that goes for all of their friends and family members that happen to come by the house as well. I have never seen a household as warm and welcoming as this but I have learned a lot from this experience and I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to live here for a time. The work is not difficult, and the agreement of hours worked is respected. That being said, there is so much free time to explore the surrounding area!

My experience at the guest house has been wonderful! Thanks Annie and Peter for welcoming me so well, and for all the people that I have been able to meet, all of them super kind. The atmosphere is always very happy and I have really enjoyed the music and dances that they have taught us! I really hope I can come back one day! My first time in ireland could not have been better, the people are the best. :)

I spent 4 weeks in the guest house and Annie and Peter made me feel very confortabe there. All the people I met were very kind and friendly with me. I could improve my english and learn a lot about irish culture. I really enjoyed listening to music every night and taking dancing lessons. I also could swim in the lake, practice some kayak there and enjoy nature. Thank you so much for taking care of me and letting me be part of your great family. I will miss you and I will miss those amazing days!

The time that I spent in the guest house was incredible. I had so much fun dancing even though I was a little bit lost with the step. I enjoyed exploring the house, walking around the river and the forest, and swimming in the lake. I have been living in Ireland for almost two years, and this was the first time that I could experience the Irish culture. It is not an judgemental environment where all the people involved in this community will encourage you to be yourself and connect with your artistic side. Annie and Pete thank you so much for having me, I hope to see you very soon!!
