My experience was amazing! I met people from all over the world and I had fun with them (guests and staff). The work is cleaning bathroom, showers, kitchen and changing beds. The food offered is enough but you have to cook and the volunteers has a queue to cooking day. The city is not touristy but there are many pubs and places to visit and the hostel is nearby to city centre. Everything was wonderful but the lack of a bathroom in volunteers room it's not good especially in winter, I hope it will change soon. Overall, thank you for everything! Everyone is kind and polite! See you soon, guys!

My experience at BCB was so good. The environment is very comfortable, I met incredible people there with whom I shared many nice moments 🤗 The work was easy, you have almost the whole day free for explore the city. On the other hand, the owners are friendly with the staff team. Dayana is very empathetic and is always willing to help you. I would definitely come back.😊 Thank you Jani, Mishi and Arthur for everything.

It was a good experience, the facilities are quite comfortable, the work almost always gets done quickly, and very little money is spent. Sometimes I felt more like a worker than a volunteer, but it's only a few hours of work, so it's fine for me.

The balance of the experience was certainly positive. I met cool people, I practiced English, I walked around the city and got to know other cities. Daiana, our headcleaner is a good person and does everything she can to help. The food is sufficient and the accommodation is good. Working hours are generally shorter than agreed. The negative points are: you will not feel like you are in a relationship of volunteer & hosts, but rather of a worker & boss. Perhaps because we feel like employees, a sense of community and cooperation is not created between the volunteers.

The experience was great! There are only a few hours of work… our boss Dayana is sweet. Very helpful and helps us with everything she can. The location is very the hostel too. Those were good days!

My stay at the hostel was good, although not what it could have been. The location is really good, it has several pubs and clubs around, it's a very young and artistic neighborhood. It's also practically in the city center. The facilities are comfy and well equipped. The problem was really with the managing. Although the work is fairly " easy "(even if heavy sometimes), we always felt this tension. For many times I didn't feel treated as an adult, but instead, monitored. It just felt that I was there only to work.

The time I spent at CentralBackpackers was really good, I met a lot of people and made a lot of friends! The hostel staff is very respectful of schedules and are always available! Really recomend the experience!!

I like the experience here because the work was easy, but the hostel is not an exciting city because it does not have many activities to do. Despite its lack of vibrant attractions, the hostel does have a few noteworthy landmarks, such as the beautiful Victoria Square and the historic the hostel Cathedral.

El hostal es el más económico de la ciudad, por lo que hay muchas personas que viven ahí de forma permanente. En relación a las tareas, son los voluntarios antiguos los que te enseñan, sin embargo si encuentran algo mal es el mismo dueño el que te dice que los haces pésimo; él no sabe tratar a las personas y te dice que “él es el jefe y nosotros los empleados que hacen limpieza”. Arthur quien está a cargo de los voluntarios no es malo, pero al fin y al cabo los dueños son los que mandan. Lo mejor del hostel son los voluntarios y el buen ambiente!

The schedule for taking care of the volunteering activities is always respected, which allows you to manage your free time with no complications. The meals are truly included, which is awesome for keeping in budget. About the hostel itself, I could not say it's a city I got fond of, however it is a highly photogenic city and I did enjoyed going for a running alongside the canals early mornings.
