It was my first volunteer experience, and it turned out to be incredibly enriching. I had the opportunity to meet some very kind and warm people, which made me feel right at home from the very beginning. Misi, Jane, Zoltan and Arthur were especially welcoming. The place itself is very clean, pleasant, and organized, contributing to an excellent work environment. Furthermore, the tasks are not at all overwhelming, and Arthur, the administrator, is always willing to help and teach you what's needed to perform your duties. I'm truly happy and deeply grateful.

Volunteering at BCB was the best experience I've ever had. The tasks are really easy going, you always work as a team with the other volunteers and all the staff always make sure you're doing well. Also, you do have plenty of time to explore the city and improve your English. I cannot thank enough to everybody there who made my stay one of the best ones. If you're thinking about applying here, don't hesitate, do it right away.

For me, BCB felt like a home away from home! The hostel is great and the people who work there make you feel welcome and cared for. Arthur is an amazing person who is always ready to listen and do what's best for you. I was lucky to volunteer alongside amazing people I'll carry with me for life. The working hours are respected and usually we finish earlier, but it can be busy somentimes. It was a great experience that helped me grow, become more confident and it improved my English a lot! I'll always remember my time at BCB with a full heart. Thank you!

From the moment I talked to Arthur (the volunteer manager), I had the feeling that this was a safe place for me to go. And I was absolutely right ❤️ The experience at BCB couldn't have been better: I felt safe, taken care of, respected and appreciated. Above all, It felt like a place where I could be myself, and I am truly grateful for that. The workload was exactly as I expected, never more than 2 hours. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Thank you Arthur, Lisa, Visha, Iani, Misi and Zoultan. I will never forget my time at BCB! A place to make friends for life ❤️

It was a wonderful experience to be part of the BCB team! This was my first volunteer work, and I truly felt included and warmly welcomed. I was lucky to meet amazing people during this time. The work isn't hard—it doesn't last more than three hours a day—everyone helps each other, and at the end of it all, we prepare lunch together and share a meal at the same table. Without a doubt, that's the best part of the day. This experience also allows you to save a lot on food. Really recommend this place and hope I can see all of you again in the future.

The experience at this place never ceased to amaze me. I couldn't believe the family vibe from the host, the volunteers, and the guests... I left feeling incredibly nostalgic because everything there was so positive, and I take with me great memories. Wonderful people in my heart. My best wishes to the staff and thank you for the opportunity! If you have the chance to go, please don't miss it.

It was an amazing experience. The working hours were as agreed, and the team was supportive. It was my first volunteering experience, and I found exactly what I was looking for: a space to practise English, make friends, and work with people committed to teamwork.

It was my best volunteering experience! The hostel is very well organized. My sincere thanks go to the owners especially Arthur, who is always on hand to teach the activities and treats all the volunteers ethically and kindly. I love the fact that there is a kitchen rota to prepare lunch! This allows us more free time and sociability. The rotation of activities makes the work dynamic and creates empathy between the volunteers. Not to mention that the hostel is very well located, allowing you to go almost anywhere on foot and the bus and metro stations are also close by. I'll miss it. :)

Don't even know how to describe my time at BCB. This was my first experience with WP and boy oh boy! I literally felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. I could go on and on about how awesome everything was, but just to quickly talk about the work load, it's super easy, hours are 11-1/2pm ish, tasks are very manageable and if you're lucky and have a great team, you'd finish by 1pm and then have the rest of the time for yourself. Arthur is an incredible leader, Misi and Jani are the best bosses ever and all three will always make sure you're comfortable and taken care of. Love you guys!
