Mi estadía en Santiago fue genial, me divertí mucho (tanto que extendí mi estancia) y me sentí como en casa. Al final formamos una familia disfuncional que voy a echar de menos ❤️‍🩹 Las tareas son sencillas, se dividen entre todos y acabas más o menos sobre las 13/13:30. Cuantos más voluntarios hay pues evidentemente más rápido se hace todo, pero en general es ameno. Sin duda recomiendo la experiencia, el hostel está en una zona central pero tranquila de Hiroshima , así que todo te pilla cerca.

I had an amazing time at the Hiroshima guesthouse. I was really lucky with my volunteer colleagues, so I always had people around me, both incredibly kind guests and volunteers. The work is super easy and goes from 11 a.m. to 1/2 p.m. The location is perfect, and you have plenty of time to explore Hiroshima or just hang out a bit at the chicken place and Sushiro.

We had a great time in the Santiago Guesthouse Hiroshima. The volunteer community was great and we felt very welcomed :) We can only recommend it.

I had a great time voulenteering at Santiago Guesthouse! The location is perfect, the building itself is cozy and with the right coworkers, it's a great enviroment! The vibe of Hiroshima also makes this experience something I truly recommend Best first volunteering experience I could ask for🙌

Me han recibido como una familia ❤️ entre todos cooperamos con las tareas así que se hacen más fácil . Agradecida con Eva y Mario por el toda su ayuda y apoyo! 🥹 Estoy considerando seriamente en extender mi tiempo aquí en el hostel ya que se me hizo muy cómoda y todos son muy amigables! The work was really easy (mainly cleaning and changing the sheets), and everyone was super nice. It was a fun experience, and Hiroshima is a great city to explore!

La experiencia en Santiago fue increíble, el trabajo en si no es muy complicado en 2/3 horas terminas y el ambiente es muy cercano. Disfrute mucho mi experiencia aquí, hice buenos amigos y me dieron ganas de quedarme mas tiempo. Completamente recomendado.

I had a great time working at Santiago Guesthouse Hiroshima! Eva and Mario were very nice and got me up to speed fast, we had a pizza party to get to know all the new starters as well. The work was easy most day and you can finish when you're done, that does mean that some days you have more tasks and less staff so you might finish a bit later but that's ok. The location is super central, right next to the peace park and by lots of food and shopping centres to explore. I recommend this place to anyone thinking about spending some time the hostel!!

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa! Desde el primer momento el trato ha sido muy cercano, me han hecho sentir como en casa! Parecía que llevaba toda la vida allí a pesar de haber estado solo un mes. Mario y Eva son encantadores, están dispuestos a ayudarte en todo lo que necesites y hacen que el ambiente sea cómodo y facíl. Gracias a eso siempre sale algún plan, no hay momentos aburridos, el buen rollo entre todos se hacía notar. No podía haber elegido sitio mejor para pasar mi cumpleaños y el mes de Julio. El trabajo no es complicado y como es en grupo no se suele tardar mucho.

Had an amazing time here!! Work is straightforward and as long as there are enough volunteers it's done easy. Location is perfect, very central, close to the typical tourist attractions and easy to go out. You sleep in a dorm of about 25 beds with staff and guests. Can get hectic but overall it's good. The team is really nice! Mario and Eva really do their best to emerge you in Japanese culture and if you're lucky with the other volunteers/guests this can be a really social hostel!
