Absolutely wonderful experience! Erika was an amazing host and super helpful throughout the entire process. The work was extremely fair and you have plenty of time to explore Northern Ireland! She offered so many great recommendations throughout my stay which made planning day trips or things to do in town easy. Such an amazing experience, I can't recommend it enough!

My time at the hostel was incredible in every way. It truly felt like a home away from home, and Erika made sure I felt welcomed from the minute I walked in. Everything was above and beyond what I expected, and I can't imagine a better first volunteering experience! Thank you for everything 🥰

Volunteering at the hostel Backpacker was my first ever experience with worldpackers and it was everything I had hoped for and more! Erika was the most hospitable host and I always felt comfortable and welcome. At times I almost forgot I was staying in a hostel because it really feels like a home. The work schedule/expectations were very clear from the start and were quite flexible so I had plenty of time to explore Belfast and other parts of NI. The only negative is that I can never volunteer at another hostel again because my expectations are now too high.

My experience at the hostel has been truly a wonderful time. Erika's one of the most attentive and kind person i've ever met, and she'll always be super welcoming and make you feel at home from the first day. Working hours are very fair, and in your free time you'll have lots of fun things to do in Belfast! I'm extremely thankful and happy that i had the opportunity to stay in this lovely, clean and comfortable hostel <3

I don't know how to put all the love I have for Erika and her Hostel into words. This was my first volunteer experience and I believe there could've not been a better place. Everything was exactly how it was communicated, the work is reasonable and Erika explains the tasks so that they are perfectly understandable (also twice if you need it) I wanna say she knows everything about Belfast and loves to share her knowledge with you! Coming back to the hostel after a little trip felt like coming home. I will definitely be back Ps:If your German or a Virgo, this place is heaven on earth ;)

Wow, what can I say? My stay at the hostel was the best first volunteer experience I could've wished for! Erika and the others made me feel right at home from the beginning. Erika took a lot of time to explain and answer questions! I honestly can't say that much, except that I have a whole lot of love for this place! Thank you Erika :D

This was such a great first Worldpackers experience! Erika is lovely, and so is the hostel. It's so homey and nice, and the tasks and working hours are very very reasonable. And quite fun as well! Erika will explain everything well, and will help you out when necessary. I had trouble changing the beds, so she took the time to show me again which was great! I loved my experience there, and can only say good things about it. It was great!!

My first experience as a volunteer and it was perfect!! The hostel feels like a second home from the second you walk in. I'm convinced Erika is the nicest human being alive and does her absolute best to keep the hostel as amazing as it is! The work is fair and leaves you with plenty of free time to explore Belfast. If you're looking to work in a nice cozy hostel with a calm atmosphere this is your place :) I'll miss the hostel and everyone (including the pigeons, of course) a lot <3
