The experience at the hostel was amazing! The Host, Albano, is a very excited, understanding, intelligent and welcoming person who really understands the volunteering proposal in a way that reflected in the atmosphere of the Hostel, which was also so pleasant. We stayed almost 3 weeks at the hostel and we really recommend this experience to other volunteers. We really made friends with the other volunteers, the hostel space was very nice, with pool, ping pong table and a good space for volunteers. I really loved this place!

I'm still in the place! Came to stay for two weeks, and now I'm thinking of staying longer! Albano is a very inteligent and open minded person, it's just very nice to be around and help him out on his projects of the hostel. The place is in a very good spot as well, with some nice beaches on the surroundings. I would definetly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a good time in Albania, that by the way, is one AMAZING country, with good food, wonderfull people and beautiful nature. Give it a shot! You'll love it...

Personalmente aprendí mucho! Sentí que valió la pena mi estadía. Salí de mi zona de confort y aprendi a adaptarme. Alban tiene buena energía y es muy relajado. Siempre está dispuesto a ayudarte y enseñarte sobre lo que él sabe. Puedo decir que para mi fue una experiencia enriquecedora.

The experience was amazing!! The hostel is very cool, the team was great and Albano, the host, is an amazing person, super friendly and a very nice guy in all aspects. I would definitely go back to this hostel!!

Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia Worldpackers, y Alban y su hostel dejan el listón muy alto. Alban es una persona excepcional, con una calidad humana y un corazón enormes. Disfrute muchísimo trabajando con el en su proyecto y las charlas que compartíamos. Me enseñó mucho de permacultura, de trabajar inteligentemente, de la vida y me sirvió de inspiración y espejo. Horario flexible y auto gestionado, realmente hace honor a la palabra voluntariado. Ha sido un regalo de vida compartir 3 semanas en el hostel.

Albano is very flexible with work hours, a really good person, we didn't stayed on the place that shows in the pictures but it was ok. Some volunteers worked more than others, I felt that is not organized at all, but it's a place with really good people!

Albano was always very nice and flexible, however the lack of organization was sometimes a problem because there were volunteers that worked way less than the others. Also, we were supposed to get one meal per day during our stay but we never got a single meal and that was disappointing. Plus, we didn't get to stay at the place showed in the pictures, we were put downstairs in a much dirtier area. Overall it was a nice experience, we met nice people, and did our part! We ended up staying less than expected but we worked more than expected also, so that worked out in the end.

Thank you for all your help. It was really exceptional.
Sorry you felt a lack of organization. You participated in project involving 4 floors and a garden. Honestly we have never been more organized. :D
Than for the meal, as far as i know our positions do not offer food but if there was a mistake you could have told me something during your stay.
The downstairs dirtier area has been the staff room for the last 2 years...
Anyhow thank you again and best of luck with your travels.

My experience at the hostel was very good, even off season I could visit a lot of places around Saranda and my work times were very flexible. The staff room is very good and private and the work tasks simple and easy to learn.

I really recommend this experience. Albano is a very flexible person with good energy. The work is very easy and as it is described. He gives you a very nice volunteer department. I would really go back to that place.
