The reason why I give 2 stars to this experience, the host Stéphane is very rude on the way he speaks to you, he made it clear since day 1 that people here come to learn and that it may be required to work more hours some days. He even threatened a nother volunteer who told him he had work 5 hrs already saying he could leave if he doesn't like it. Once he sent me a message asking me to leave his place because he didn't see me working that day, which I did from 7am to 1pm, he assumed something instead of asking me or the guys that assigned the tasks for the volunteers. He has no sense of tact.

La verdad no recomiendo, no por las tareas en sí (que si requieren de un gran trabajo físico y poca protección que arriesga tu integridad por un semi-plato de comida y condiciones de vida deplorables) sino por el trato poco dignificante que se le da lxs voluntarixs, desde hacer que coman retraídxs en la casa a oscuras hasta que se le despojen de las pocas cosas a las que teníamos acceso (TV, refri, etc). El dueño es una persona tacaña que sólo busca quien haga el mayor trabajo por la menor cantidad posible de inversión y ni siquiera tiene el interés de conocer a quienes viven bajo su techo.

No lo recomendaria como voluntariado realmente El trabajo me pareció re pesado y no está bien claro el tema de las comidas, a veces generó roces También la organización de las horas, es probable que trabajes una hora de la mañana dos horas a mitad de mañana y otras tres horas a la tarde con lo cual de repente estás trabajando desde las 7:30 de la mañana hasta las cuatro de la tarde con muchas pausas en el medio, y eso a mí no me gustó los otros voluntarios un 10, es lo que salva el lugar

Unfortunately, the assigned tasks were not performed satisfactorily, even simple ones like cleaning bathrooms and washing dishes. Several attempts were made to reassign her, but without success. We believe the best option is to assign her only very simple and clear tasks.

We provide 3 meals per day: lunch is made by the hotel kitchen, and the other meals are prepared by the volunteers.

It was my first solo travel experience, and i can't complain at all. First of all, the amount of work's hours is respected, so you have all the free time you need. The family that runs the place is really aviable (and you makes them really happy if you agree) to include you in all kind of sport activity: beach volley, water polo, underwater hockey, ecc Moreover, you can use everything in the facility in total freedom. Not to mention the other guys working there: they guide you your first days, give you a hand at the need, ecc... and yes, I can say they will become like a family for sure.

The time I spent at the guest house was incredible. The place is beautiful, the work is easy for volunteers, and the team is not only very fun but also super collaborative. The host allows you to use all the hotel facilities, including swimming in the pool on a sunny day or sleeping in the suspended bubbles in the middle of the forest. The work schedule is very well divided, allowing you to explore the region after the 5 hours of work. Additionally, the kitchen staff prepares delicious lunches with great care. Thank you all! ❤️

This was my first WP experience and it turned out to be great, I even decided to stay here longer! The work can be a bit exhausting sometimes, but it changes daily and the other workers are super helpful and nice! :) Most of them are from Brazil, so most of the time you will communicate in English. The property itself is really big and surrounded by nature and you can use all it's offerings, like doing accrobranche, using sport supplies or taking the bikes. Everyone I met here has grown dear to my heart & I'm really grateful for this experience! :) Merci & Obrigada!

This was a good first worldpackers experience for me!! The forest surrounding the guesthouse was beautiful and unique and you have the opportunity to do acrobranche/ hikes/ etc if you want to! However, the work exchange is a bit out of the main town, so keep this in mind. The other workers were all so lovely and made my experience so much better!! At times, communication of tasks and expectations from the host could have been better and more clear. I would reccomend this if you want something relaxing and being surrounded by nature!
