I had 7 amazing weeks staying with the family and be in the school. The whole family is very welcoming and made me feel so safe and gave me a really fun time. The teachers and children at school are amazing and we had such a good time together. I am so grateful that they took me in and opened up their home for me. It was the best experience that I ever had in my life and they da really beautiful and importen job and I am so thankful I could be a part of it and contribute. I miss you all so much and the organization I can come back really soon!!!!!<3

My experience with the school was incredible. The children were very polite and diligent, and they truly captured my heart. However, I felt uncomfortable due to the dynamics with the people living in the host house. I had to manage some issues that weren't mine to solve and I didn't see much collaboration from the host. I suggest that communication between the host and volunteers be more open, and that problems be solved together. This would make the experience more peaceful and allow volunteers to focus on the school. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience

Thank you so much Emma, Lydia and to all the kids at home and at school. Thanks for what you do to the community and what you do for all the kids. This has been the best time in my life and I am glad to be part of this big family ♥️ I will be back for sure locos. I love you all and I miss you every day!!!!!

I came back after two years, and as I expected it was a great experience that will remain in my heart forever. It was great to see all the kids who have grown over time, and I thank them for the good time spent together, but most of all I would like to thank Emma and Lydia for welcoming me as one of the family. You are doing a wonderful job and I wish you all the best for the years to come. I will see you again soon. Love you dada

This experience has really warmed my heart. Emma & Lydia are great hosts, always caring and interested in my wellbeing, I couldn't ask for more! Thank you❤️ The atmosphere at the house was fun and entertaining and I created a very special bond with the kids living there! The school is a great project which is very well organized. I liked a lot that the work for volunteers was flexible. I could help out with different tasks (teaching, helping with the homework, playing and even planting bananas) depending on what I'd like to do. I totally recommend the organization and Emma and Lydia as Hosts ☀

I consider the organization a very good organization, the school is well organized, the children are getting a proper education and they're super sweet. Lydia and Emmanuel were great hosts, always helpful and supportive. I really liked my stay there and I've created a very deep connection with the children in the house. All in all I recommend the organization, I spent a good month living there and I respect a lot the work that they're doing for the children.

This was my first ever solo trip and my first time travelling to Uganda. Upon arrival I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was greeted with open arms from Lydia, Emma the children and the other volunteers. I felt welcomed by everyone and made to feel at home. All the staff at the organization da fantastic job in teaching & supporting the children. Whilst there the children were taking part in sports day activities which was great to see. Unfortunately I had to cut my trip short due to personal issues, but I met some incredible people from all over the world who looked out for me.

Top host for a reason! Emma and Lydia are fabulous hosts, they get a lot of volunteers but need all the help they can get, so don't hesitate to volunteer if you want to have an awesome experience.

Could not recommend this experience more❤️ One of the most impactful and transformative experiences I've had. You learn, you grow and it gives you the chance to experience and fully understand how so much of the population is living. Everyone at home became family, especially Lydia who became a sister to me. I felt safe and comfortable 100% of the time and loved all aspects. Thankyou Emma and Lydia for hosting
