Minha experiência como voluntário na organização Fundation, ( que por sinal foi minha primeira), foi excepcional. Você ajuda de manhã na escola com crianças de 3 a 8 anos e de tarde fica na casa junto a cyrus, jeromy, wikrifu, getu, nuulu, john, joel, lydia e emmanuel que realmente viraram minha família ugandes :). Todas as crianças e adolescentes da casa são extremamente educados, divertidos e estão sempre dispostos a te ajudar em qualquer coisa.emmanuel e lydia são pessoas muito boas... e estão fazendo um excelente trabalho para a comunidade onde eles vivem ( jinja namulesa). Obrigado Emma

Foram dias deliciosos perto do rio Nilo, com as melhores pessoas de Uganda. Sem falar da deliciosa comida preparada com carinho e as doces crianças que vivem por lá. Gayela a organização é realmente especial e você vai se encantar assim que chegar! As tarefas são prazerosas e Emma te dará liberdade de escolher onde você melhor se encaixa. Você pode ajudar na plantação, na cozinha, com as crianças ou aprender muito, mas muito mesmo com a encantadora e poderosa Mama Flo'... ah, que mulher! Aprender artesanato com ela é sensacional! É um lugar de muito aprendizado, DEFINITIVAMENTE!

I wanted to say thank you to Emanuel and Lydia who gave my friend and me an incredible experience and allowed us to immerse ourselves in their culture and family; they did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible!

Thank you Ema and Lydia for the warm welcome at the end of the year. Since the school was closed, we undertook different tasks. We helped improve the school by repainting and cleaning the grounds. We also went to meet local people, a more remote community, to distribute mattresses and clothing. Thank you Ema and Richian for accompanying us on the safari; it was an intense two days that allowed us to experience breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend this mission if you are ready to connect with others and share your love. Thanks ❤️

If you are looking for a volunteer experience that is really making an impact, join Emma & Lydia at the organization. They welcome you to their home like family. They use the fundraised money wisely to help people in need I came here during school holidays, so my tasked were to help renovating the school. I helped fundraise money for families that live in remote areas with no direct access to water, only small homes and not much food available. We brought them matresses. I learned a lot about their culture and we celebrated christmas with Emmas family.

I enjoyed my stay and felt very comfortable from the beginning. Emma was very kind and welcoming! Thank you! The school was absolutely wonderful. The children are learning so much and the teachers are highly skilled. I built a great relationship with the teachers and the children. My boyfriend and I were able to support in various activities which was a rewarding experience for us. We already miss everyone! Another highlight of our time was a weekend spent with Emma and Wyck, which included a safari, rhino trekking, and chimpanzee tracking. We can definitely recommend it!

My stay at the organization was wonderful. Emma welcomed us into his home, and we always felt comfortable at the accommodation. Together with Emma and Wyck, we had an amazing time on safari. The school itself is very inspiring, a place with a passion for learning. I had the chance to help prepare meals, contribute to building the new toilet facility, and assist in teaching the children. My girlfriend and I also used donations to buy and distribute essential items for the school and the kids, which brought so much happiness to the children and teachers.

Even though my time at the organization was very short, I learned so much here. Wyck taught me how to make chapati, bracelets and took us on a sunset hike. The school itself is an amazing place! The children are all so happy and eager to learn. I was stunned to see how well the 5 year old good write and read. The accommodation is basic, like you can expect in a rural area in Africa, but it has all you need. Emmanuel, Wyck and Reagan were very welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived.

Highly recommended the organization! We had the most incredible experience with Emma and felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. Each weekday was spent at the school helping the children and running our own classes and then on the weekend we had free time to explore the area. Everyone is so lovely and friendly. Words can't describe how great these 2 weeks were. I will definitely come back. Thankyou
