Very Good Hostel! - I would come back at any point and time in the future to help Joseph and his Hostel. There is a park close to the Liverpool stadium that I enjoyed walking in to get some fresh air. I came after the lockdowns of Covid-19 started easing down...so there weren't many people, but I have faith that next year this Hostel will be fully back up and running again. Joseph is a very nice guy. He is multi-cultural so you can expect to be welcomed. All that Joseph asks for is for you to help the Hostel whenever you see that there's work need to be done. - 5 Stars the guest house Pod!

I had an excellent experience there, the manager has really easy English to understand and a lot of patience to explain again and again! kkkk Everything I needed to do and change was very easy to solve. The Hostel it's beautiful and the city as well, there are a lot of things to do there, there is a park very close to the hostel too. For me, crazy for Football/soccer was better because the hostel stay in the same street from Everton Stadium and 8 min from Liverpool Stadium, I'll never forget the feeling to see these stadiums so close. I hope come back one day and spend more time there.

I really liked this experience! It is a nice place to be and the managers are really friendly and responsible. Amazing people! There, I could improve my English skills, I got in touch with the guests all the time, so I could improve my communication, my ability solving problems and helping people. Also, I could improve even more my housekeeping skills! Although the tasks are not hard, it's a place for people who are really willing to work! The hostel has a good location, so you can go to many places from here, walking or by bus! I recommend this experience to everyone!

This was my first experience as a volunteer in a hostel and it couldn't have been any better. I felt very welcomed and the work was easy. Clean the floor, bathroom, change the bedsheets. It is really easy work - so it's not much to add here. The hostel is also surrounded from grocery stores and shops so you have absolutely everything you need. The communication was great too and this is an important part for me. I always could ask whenever I had a question, so I felt completely safe and comfortable. I can highly recommend this hostel and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

Definitely 5 stars! The team is great, like a family, we had fun together. I really have enjoyed my stay. Joseph and Kate are flexible and kind. They motivate and respect the staff and expect in exchange your responsibility and your happiness to collaborate to maintain the standards quality of the service (cleanness, hygiene, social life). The staff room is super nice, they offer delicious breakfast and you have a lot of free time to enjoy your self. By following the concept of pod they offer space to socialize and comfortable beds with privacy curtain, power plugs and light. Thanks.

It was amazing,the owners were extremely nice,the job is easy and they are really patient to teach you.They were for sure one of the best people I've met in the city.There are a lot of things to do in the city and cities around.The locals are also really friendly.There I could improve my english,because we had guests from everywhere and the owners and the most part of the other volunteers also like to talk so that was perfect to practice and make friends.I super recommend the liverpool pod,specially if you are a friendly person and don't have problems to work,it'll be great.

The experience was excellent. The tasks are easy and the hours are good. The hostel was very quiet this months so it was calm. Kate and Joseph are super accessible. Liverpool is a very cool city too. Full of history. Thanks guys the guest house lovely stay!

My experience at the Pod was good. Unfortunately due to personal problems I had to stay less time than I should have, but it was still worth the little time I stayed. Easy tasks, breakfast included and plenty of free time to get to know the city, Liverpool is a great place for you to visit! The situation at the Hostel is more delicate than usual due covid situation and I missed an explanation regarding this before they accepted me as a volunteer. In the beginning was great, met a lot of travellers and other volunteers from different countries. Met the owners of the hostel, and got along and talked with everybody. Covid-19 really impacted the moods of everyone left in the hostel. Felt uneasy in some situations, for instances, the owner would continuously have a pessimistic attitude towards the future of the hostel, due to the virus. I'm a very positive person and the constant negative energy is really draining. If any travellers have any questions just let me know! Have a good day.
