La anfitriona y el guest home excelentes, pero el trabajo a realizar muy largo, duro y con pocos beneficios. Lo dejamos por que no podiamos complementarlo con el ocio que esperabamos debido a que estabamos muy cansados.

Christina, her family and Teresa were really nice and friendly! The hours are fair, although I found the work quite intensive, as I was not used to clean. The breakfast was amazing as well as the guesthouse. If you want to relax this is a good place.

I had a good time at the guest house. Cristina and the team are very nice people. I just found the work hard and exhausting, although I was free at 1 pm sometimes I was so tired I just wanted to sleep because the work was very heavy. Besides that, the beach is great and prices in the city are good as well. Consider it a good option if you have no back problems and want to rest in a quiet place.

My experience in Alvor was wonderful beyond words. Cristina and Teresa were so nice, friendly and generous, and made me feel like in my own home. The work shift is fair and you are largely recompensated with good accommodation and generous breakfast, besides getting free for long hours to explore the splendid beaches and to appreciate nature in the surroundings. There are good restaurants and bars but they close by midnight (at least in October), so perhaps not ideal for those in search of lively nights. It's a lovely fishermen village perfect to relax and rest. Já estou com saudades!

More of a b&b than hostel so sometimes was a bit lonely, but vimy was beautiful and tasks were fair. You work in the morning and have the afternoons free.

I dont have words to describe, Cristina and your family are very friendly, i felt i was at home, everything was perfect, the place the people, the weather I have to say just thank you for this opportunity and i hope see you soon. Thankful

I highly recommend being a volunteer in the guest house! Cristina and her family are extremely warm-hearted and caring which made me feel as if I was staying with people I know for a very long time. It's only four hours working per day and it doesn't even feel like work. I enjoyed spending time with them preparing a very special breakfast during the morning or helping with the rooms. Volunteers can enjoy breakfast with the guests and are free for the rest of the day. Everybody has a very positive attitude which assures you'll feel at home and makes you miss this place as soon as you leave!
