Alvor es una tranquila pequeña y encantadora ciudad .. las actividades en el hostal y demás propiedades son diversas y los horarios te permiten conocer los alrededores. Cristina es muy activa y comprensiva y la integración con los voluntarios de muchas partes del mundo es genial... Gracias por la oportunidad...

I really enjoyed this place for the beautiful location and for meeting other volunteers! During my stay there weren't many guests so we mainly helped Cristina and her family with tasks on a farm that they're moving to. Mostly cleaning coops and moving furniture, so it wasn't too fun, and different from what I expected, but the people were nice and Cristina was very friendly and helpful. There were a few days when us girls helped with housekeeping and cleaning, which was good. Working hours were from 8am to 1pm and usually Cristina would cook a really nice lunch for everyone!

I didn't like the work itself that much, because instead of housekeeping we were helping them to move. So we were basically packing boxes the whole time and didn't work in the hostel at all.(The other volunteers said it's usually different.) But Christina is really nice. She even invited us for lunch a couple of times and we were allowed to use her private pool. It was fun to meet that many new people. So in general, the work wasn't fun but if you are okay with working hard for a couple of hours for being around nice people and spending your time near the beach this experience might be for you

The guest house is a nice guesthouse to stay in Alvor and Cristina is such a good host because che can really transmits energy to everyone. After some hours of work in the morning you are free to have breakfast and spent the rest of the day in the way you choose. My experience with others volunteers was so nice because we spent a week like a family.

Nos gustó mucho la experiencia en la casa. Cada día nos fuimos sintiendo más y más como en casa. Las voluntarias muy majas y el sitio cumplió con las expectativas. Además el desayuno estaba muy bueno. Cristina es buena anfitriona

Alvor is the nice little town by the sea with a lot of beatiful spots around, and the guest house is only a few minutes away from the beach. Cristina is lovely and will welcome you as a member of the family! The tasks are not hard, just a bit of cleaning, preparing the breakfast and basic maintenance tasks. But I was there during the pandemic so it might be more intense in a normal time... You will work in the morning and have your afternoons free! Overall it was a really great experience, had a lot of time to relax and enjoy the sea. The only downside is that you can't use the stoves...

Muito obrigada Cristina and Joaquim for everything! They run an amazing guest house with a fab breakfast, and such a warm welcome! The guest house is about 5 mins walk from the beach, and round the corner from the main touristy bar and restaurant area, perfect location! The work isn't too hard just fast paced when there's lots of guests, we often finished before 1 so you have the whole day to yourselves! As my first time world packers experience i had a great time and learnt how to properly clean a bathroom! And most importantly, I managed to practice and improve my Portuguese! Beijinhos!

Recomendaría vivir la experiencia como Worldpackers en la casa al 100%. Cristina y Joaquin me recibieron con mucho amor, además de hacerme sentir parte de su familia. Las actividades( preparar el desayuno, limpiar las habitaciones y lugares comunes del hotel) van desde las 8-13 hs. Pero siempre finalizábamos antes con el total de las tareas y estábamos listas para ir a la playa que es super cerca!. A una cuadra se encuentran todos los bares y restaurantes, es una zona muy bonita y super segura. Gracias Cris y Joaquin por ser tan ambles y hacerme sentir como en casa. Los voy a extrañar!

Ardemar fue mi primera experiencia en woldpacker y fue increíble! Me encantó conocer a Cristina y a Joaquin, ellos son dos personas increíbles que nos hicieron sentir en familia. Cristina es quien explica las tareas detalladamente y con paciencia, siempre esta dispuesta a enseñar y ayudar. El trabajo comienza a las 8 a.m y es hasta la 1 p.m, pero muchas veces las tareas se terminan antes. El desayuno es riquísimo, el hotel es hermoso y muy limpio, la ubicación es excelente, cerca de la playa y del centro donde están todos los bares y restaurantes. Voy a extrañar muchísimo a esta familia.

Mi experiencia en la casa ha sido fantastica!! Fue mi primer voluntariado, me sentí como en casa, me trataron tan bien, ha sido un HOGAR. Cristina es demasiado generosa, amorosa, atenta, y más! Recomiendo este hermoso lugar para que vengan, el trabajo es muy llevadero porque ella siempre está colaborando y enseñándote. Volvería sin dudas aquí, es una gran familia. Gracias a Cristina y Joaquin por esta oportunidad, y por tanto amor.
