I don't know how I can start describing my experience in Cuenca… It was simply amazing! Juan, Helena and Dani made the experience feel like home and i felt really cared. The job is easy and they have a lot of patience to teach you how to do it. If you have bad spanish as me they talk really slow and help you improve with the language. In my last days I got sick and they were very kind to me and offered to go with to the hospital and let me rest. I'm really happy about my experience in cuenca, couldn't have chosen better place for my first volunteering. Gracias por todo, nos vemos pronto!!

A great experience! the hostel is cosy, relaxed, and welcoming , and all staff are friendly and helpful :) The work is cleaning, which is quite physical job, but the hours were respected and the staff always help and work alongside the volunteers, so it was fine :) The volunteer accomodation is excellent! A lovely self-contained flat in the attic. The only inconvenience was that I expected individual accomodation, but in reality shared with two other volunteers (first one and then the other), however it worked out well. Overall an excellent first experience, and I recommend it!

Si buscas sentirte como en casa , el hostel es el lugar💜 todo ahi es increible, sobre todo las personas que trabajan alli, te tratan super bien y siempre estan predispuesto para ayudarte en todo, Dani, Juan(dueño) respetando todo lo acordado y Helena que se gano mi corazón. Sin dudas mi primer experiencia como voluntaria alli fue de lo mejor.

My staying at the hostel has been amazing! The amount of work was very fair and I had a lot of free time to spend in Cuenca and the surroundings, which are very beautiful. Juan, Elena and Dani have always been so nice to me, they treated me like I was part of the family. Last but not least, the accomodation was super comfy! It's a ten out of ten, very recommended!

Fue mi primer voluntariado, excelente experiencia, buen equipo de trabajo; Juan, Elena y Dany me trataron como parte de su familia. El trabajo es muy sencillo y se realiza en poco tiempo. El hostel y toooodo Cuenca son hermosos! realmente se realizan las tareas como en familia. Juan, Elena y Dani son 3 personas super buenas y amables que te acompañan desde el primer minuto. Subes de escalón en tu forma de limpiar porque te enseñan a que todo brille y agudizas muchísimo tu ojo. La ubicación del hostel es perfecta, frente al río en medio de la serranía. Me voy super feliz de haberlos conocido y en una ciudad tan bella y tranquila que ni estaba en mi planes de viaje. LO SUPER RECOMIENDO🦆

The hostel is an amazing place right at the beginning of the old town in Cuenca. The team was super nice and always available if I had a question to ask. The only problem on my side was my laking spanish. Because of that the communication was a bit hard but still possible. You can immerse yourself in culture in Cuenca. There are my museums, which are mostly free and the city and its nature is amazing. The hostel itself is really clean and everyone's super friendly. This was my first volunteering experience and they didn't dissapoint.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y me encantó! Cuenca es un sueño si te gustan los lugares como para hacer senderismo o simplemente relajarte. Los horarios y tareas fueron acordadas y respetadas desde el comienzo. Juan y Dani son muy buenos compañeros de trabajo y anfitriones, y Elena fue como una tía para mí, compartimos un montón. Gracias por todo! espero volver a visitarlos! 💜

Esta fue mi primera experiencia como voluntario de Worldpackers, y ha sido increíble desde el primer minuto. El hostel es hermoso!! Tiene habitaciones compartidas y algunas privadas (qué son amplias y súper equipadas). Juan, Elena y Dani (quienes trabajan en el hostel) son personas súper amables y estuvieron dispuestas a ayudarme con cualquier cosa. Desde el primer momento me hicieron sentir como uno más. El trabajo en sí no es difícil, es sobre todo limpieza. Algunos días hay más trabajo y otros menos, pero nunca fueron muchas horas. Cuenca es una ciudad hermosa, vale totalmente la pena!
