My stay with the Family of James was a really beautiful experience, I defintely recommend it! Not only the experience you gain at the two schools the volunteers are helping, also the stay with the local family makes you feel like you really get to know the real life in Arusha. James was always very caring and the communication with him was very easy and good! You had enough freetime to do other activities or just relax/hang out with the other volunteers. The organization of Trips such as a Safari was easy as well :)

I had a wonderful time volunteering here! The host family was very welcoming, and working with the children was such a fun and rewarding experience. Thanks to James , I was able to enjoy both volunteering and traveling at the same time. I made great memories and would definitely recommend this place!

I had a wonderful time volunteering here! 2 weeks is not enough! I recommend staying for 3! James and his family were very welcoming. I love that I got to do some farm work and also help at the school. It was a good intro to sustainable farming for me. Also, I had a great time with the other volunteers :)

My experience at the project was incredible. James was very helpful in helping me settle in and arranging dates and guides for all the wonderful activities on offer here such as a safari trip and climbing Mount Meru. The whole family was also very welcoming and kind and cooked some lovely food. Working at the library with the children was also very fun and rewarding, and the place is well equipped for you to help the children with both learning and having fun. All in all the trip was very memorable and something I would definitely recommend.

It was a fantastic stay with James – he's an incredibly kind host and helps with everything. When we needed local SIM cards and to book a bus ticket, James took care of it for us. You really feel at home and welcomed by the whole family, as well as their three lovely dogs.

My experience was extremely positive. I got to volunteer at a local school supporting the teachers with their workload, creating classroom boards or anything that you can share. In addition also did support the library where children from the community go in their free time to get support with their homework or just play. They are all so special, from the host family (cooks the best food and are all so lovely), to the teachers and the children. The children will make you feel at home the first moment they see you, they are the sweetest hearts ❤️
