My time in Faro was amazing! In the hostels the staff are very friendly, everyone is welcoming. The work is not hard, all they needed is to help out with serving and preparing the dinners, and the cleanup afterwards. Faro is a little calm city, so not that many things to do, but a good place to explore the Algarve. The other volunteers who I worked with were amazing, they truly made the experience special. If you thinking of applying, I would a 10000% recommend! Thank u for everything!

I couldn't be happier with my experience here. The job was easy and the working hours were respected, but what I truly loved were the people I got to meet: such a fun and social hostel where you can connect with so many international travelers and make incredible friendships. A big thank-you as well to the amazing team at Hostellicious and the hostel and to the volunteers I shared my experience with, they really made Faro feel like my home away from home. For anyone reading this: if you're hesitating about applying for this volunteer experience, just go for it. You won't regret it :)

Mi experiencia en Hostellicious / el hostel fue increible. Los dos hostels son muy tranquilos, la gente es muy amable y sociable y he disfrutado muchísimo de la compañía del staff y de las otras voluntarias. El trabajo es muy tranquilo y poco exigente, tienes dos días libres por semana y puedes aprovechar todas las mañanas. Estoy muy contenta de haber ido y sobretodo de haber compartido esta experiencia con las voluntarias que me encontré! Muchas gracias por todo a todo el equipo!

This is the second time I've volunteered at Hostellicious and once again I was very well received here, I feel at home, the hostel has a good structure and is well located, Faro is a charming city so if you're thinking about volunteering at Hostellicious I'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot.

Fue mi primer voluntariado y la verdad que no pudo ser mejor, el hostel es muy bonito en el centro de faro, cómodo y limpio en todo momento, conocí personas increíbles el staff y todo el personal es maravilloso, me llevo recuerdos increíbles de este lugar lastimosamente tuve que marcharme antes pero lo recomiendo 100%

Fue mi primer voluntariado y como primera experiencia fue muy buena. Me gustó mucho, conocí gente increíble que me hicieron sentir muy cómoda. El stuff es muy bueno, muy amables y siempre te ayudan. El hostel muy limpio, el trabajo se puede ver y muy cómodo Se respetan las tareas acordadas y los días libres. Lo que sí quiero comentar que la encargada de los voluntarios es desorganizada, es difícil la comunicación a veces. Estaría bueno que te reciba cuando llegues y te explique cómo funciona todo porque uno llega muy perdido. Pero me gustó y lo recomiendo y se aprende mucho

It was my first Worldpackers experience and it was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to connect with other travellers, because it's a really lively hostel with a great atmosphere. All of the staff is nice and working with them was super fun.

Really enjoyed my time here, the staff and other volunteers were all really helpful and friendly. For any volunteers going in the future it might be wise to learn some of the basics in Portuguese to help you while you're there although it's totally do-able without aswell

I had the opportunity to volunteer at Hostelicious and it was a very enriching experience. The work is not easy – it requires dedication, effort and a willingness to learn. But I can say that every challenge is worth it. Thank you for all your support. Minha primeira experiência de voluntariado e foi exatamente o que esperava, os horários foram todos respeitados e fui muito bem acolhido por toda a equipa! Com certeza vou retornar porque tive uma familia aqui Kassio, Mauricio, Max, Fabi, Lu, Leandra, Duda... recomendo a todos para viver uma verdade experiência portuguesa no Algarve! Sentirei saudades!
