I loved my time at the hostel :) Chris and Hervé were great managers, the tasks were simple and the hours were very reasonable. Requesting specific days off was also quite flexible, meaning there was lots of time to explore the hostel and travel around Scotland. The other volunteers made me feel welcome and at home and I will miss them all lots. I hope to come back again in the future!

The hostel was my first one and Im so happy that I could be part of it, Im in love with the place, people are great, the work is absolutely nice, the place is clean and feels like home, I love the kitchen and all the toilets are amazing and comfortable. Im definitely coming back!

I had such a great experience at DBH. Everyone was incredibly welcoming from the minute I arrived and the atmosphere within the hostel and the volunteers truly feels like one big family. The work is very well managed and there is plenty of time to explore the beautiful area and all the surrounding cities. My time here went by too fast and I will definitely miss all the wonderful people in the hostel :)

My experience in the hostel was very good! the hostel is well located and the tasks are very calm. I met incredible and special people here from all over the world, in addition to Chris and the entire hostel team. the exchange is really fair and a lot of fun, as I was able to exchange, get to know the culture and improve my English. Thank you so much the hostel for welcoming me and giving me incredible moments, I will miss you and come back for sure!

The hostel Backpacker Hostel experience was amazing. Chris and Hervé are very well organised managers and make the environment very friendly and funny. They where very understanding and had a real connection with volunteers. It was a very interesting time because It has been the most diverse group of volunteers I have ever been in. Made good friends here! The work in the hostel was not difficult, and it is a good place for practicing team work skills. There was enough time to work in some music and travel around Scotland. Would totally recommend this experience. It was GREAT! 💯

It was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn't have hoped for better! From first day, I already felt at home thanks to Chris and the other volunteers. The tasks were very simple and well explained. We also had a lot of free time, which allowed me to explore the cities around the hostel. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the hostel !

The experience I had at the hostel was simply amazing. It allowed me to connect with the incredible people I met here, as well as explore the place, practice and improve my English and learn many new things. It's a very welcoming environment, with people of the most diverse nationalities, and I felt at home from my first day here. I will certainly always remember the time I spent here. Home away from home. This is my second time volunteering at the DBH, and it is still one of my favourite places to be in. The building, the people, and the manager. It feels like a big family. I can only recommend this place and I will definitely return again.

My experience like a volunteer in the hostel was amazing!! My hosts Herve, Chris and Virginie were very helpful and clear about my activities and they helped about all my doubts! This experience contributed in my English improvement and it was very special because I could meet many people for another countries and we could change our cultures! I super recommend this place, I consider me a lucky girl for this place had been my first experience like a volunteer in Worldpackers!

I had such a great time here! The work was straightforward and easy to understand, and the management was very clear and well-organised. I also had plenty of time to myself to explore and travel to other places too. The other volunteers were amazing people from the world and I learnt a lot and made heaps of wonderful memories. Overall, this was a very meaningful and fulfilling experience - I shall miss you lots and I can't wait til we meet again!
