The eco village is a true oasis and provides an authentic way to experience Costa Rica. Rob and Rebe are welcoming hosts who are dedicated to their mission of creating a sustainable eco-village, and it was lovely to have the opportunity to participate with them in their vision. I enjoyed being very close to nature and wildlife, practicing Spanish and helping construct the neighbor's house with Rob, relaxing in the hammocks, playing volleyball at the beach with the dogs and fellow volunteers -- some of whom have become very close friends. This was a memorable experience that I will cherish!

Éste proyecto es una experiencia bonita. Ellos están pendientes a los voluntarios, tienen organizadas las tareas del día a día. Estuvimos focalizados en la creación del invernadero entre otras tareas de reparación, aprovechamiento de cocos para hacer diferentes productos y una patrulla de tortugas a la semana. Además Rob es biólogo y le gusta explicar sobre los pájaros que se escuchan en la zona. La comida y las clases de yoga me encantaron. Gracias!!

The eco village is an absolute nature oasis. The location and setting is so pretty with a quick walk to the beach! Rob and Rebe are the best hosts! The passion they have for their place and surroundings show. The food is incredible! The work hours are so relaxed and you have plenty of time to learn and relax. We were lucky enough to see so much wildlife including a turtle! The sleeping roundhouse is awesome and I felt so safe in the mosquito net. Definitely recommend 👏🏽

This place is amazing! The owners Rob & Rebe truly make the place what it is. The hospitality, facilities, and overall program were perfectly planned out making the stay extremely comfortable and fun! Rebe has a true passion for cooking, using fresh ingredients from the farm to make delicious vegetarian meals every day. We were always looking forward to the next meal. Rob provided the knowledge about what, why, and how they are protecting the turtles and other life within Drake Bay. Showing us how to live sustainably yet comfortably. Alongside making us laugh every day Highly recommend!

Everything was incredible, it was the best experience of my life! Rob and Rebe are incredible and caring, we're well fed, housed, etc. I already miss it, I left part of my heart there, I felt so good there. I'm so grateful to have had this experience with them! La ecovila es el mejor lugar para conectar con la naturaleza, aprender a vivir sostenible, comer delicioso y disfrutar de un tiempo de relajación. Rebe y Rob son excelentes anfitriones, siempre cuidan que estés pasando una buena experiencia, el trabajo no es pesado y son unas personas maravillosas que te enseñan la cultura del país de la manera más divertida y amorosa. Definitivamente volvería! Pura vida!

Para ser mi primer voluntariado estuvo muy bien, más que nada por temas de seguridad esta tranquilo, Rebe y Rob me recibieron de la mejor manera y resolvían mis dudas de buena manera. Aprendí bastante, desde construcción hasta herbolaria; la comida es buenisima y los trabajos son bastantes faciales de aprender. Diría que podrían llevar un poco más del presupuesto por si se presenta una emergencia externa al voluntariado. :)))

I can only say one thing: thank you! Rob is passionate and loves to transmit, Rebe is so caring and patient. I felt like I was part of a family. the finca is a superb place to live in the jungle, wake up to the sound of birds and eat local products. it's the end of the world but you feel good there and there are very beautiful places to discover around. I had varied tasks for work and I am very happy to have been able to learn lots of new things while practicing my English and Spanish. If you plan to go, don't hesitate, it's a beautiful experience ! Gracias family 🥰 Pura vida !

Je recommande à 100% ce volontariat, Rob et Rebe sont des personnes adorables qui sont à l'écoute de leurs volontaires, j'ai adoré travailler et apprendre davantage à leurs côtés. La cuisine de Rebe est délicieuse, et des cours de yogas sont génial. J'ai adoré faire aussi les cours d'espagnol avec Rob et d'en apprendre plus sur la faune et la flore qui nous entourait.

An advice: go for it! Rob and Rebe are lovely people who I'll never forget, they treat you like family and you really feel at home. I'm more than delighted and grateful for this 2nd volunteering experience. We arrived at the end of the turtle season, so we've been working on the farm to ensure it develops properly. If you go you'll see the lovely wall we painted behind the laundry. Rebe's food omg! Delicious! And we learned a lot about birds thanks to Rob, "you suck my balls" :D Thanks again, I'll be back <3
