Mi experiencia en la ecovila fue genial. Rob y Rebe son gente maravillosa que te hacen sentir como en casa. La finca es un sitio agradable donde poder desconectar, ademas de tener una hermosa playa a 5minutos caminando.Los trabajos son variados desde cuidar la huerta a ayudar a mejorar el lugar.

Mi primera experiencia como voluntario no pudo ir mejor. Rebe, Rob y sus 3 perros crean un ambiente ideal para realizar las tareas del día a día y para que los voluntarios se lleven genial entre sí. Es admirable la conciencia ambiental y el modo de plantearse la vida que han adquirido. Además, las comidas que preparan ambos son muy muy buenas, y la finca es un lugar de lo más agradable. 100% recomendable!

My experience at the eco village was amazing, it was my first Volunteer experience. Rob and Rebe are so welcoming and kind and made me feel at home immediately. The Spanish classes taught by Rob were very helpful and I loved the Yoga classes we did with Rebe. The work on the Farm is very rewarding I think because you get to see the progress that you make every day and we could also be creative and pitch in our own ideas. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed learning to cook Costa Rican meals. Thank you Rob and Rebe for the wonderful time here!

Great experience, Rob and Rebe are excellent hosts and try to help in any way possible, also their cooking is sooo good! The tasks can sometimes be a little tough but very fulfilling at the end, you can see how the place is changing little by little because of the work you did. I also met really good friends there, there's a beach nearby and a lot of cool places to visit relatively close, also a lot of nature everywhere. In general, a really gratifying and enjoyable experience :) 10/10, would come again

My experience at the eco village was so good that I even decided to extend my stay for a few days. Rebe and Rob are amazing hosts and really made me feel like family. I could make a list of how wonderful they both are but I'll let the prospective volunteers discover for themselves! I enjoyed the kind of work that we did in and around the farm, a good mix of physical work, some more relaxing work like painting and sometimes even creative work! Location-wise, Drake Bay is in my opinion the most magical place in Costa Rica, a perfect balance of jungle & beach. Highly reccommend!

My experience with the eco village was amazing! It was my first one with Worldpackers and don't know how the next one will rise to this standard. I learned many things about permaculture, which was my initial purpose. Rob's knowledge is so diverse, from biology to Spanish, sometimes even genetics haha. I love Rebe's energy and they complete each other very well in many aspects! If you're looking to be immersed in nature, go to sleep with the frogs and wake up with the howling monkeys, you're definitely coming home! Can't wait to see the project evolving and hopefully going back one day!

Rebe and Rob are really welcoming and take good care of you and they will let you feel a part of the family and you will have the opportunity to learn about different and new things . La experiencia de voluntariado fue increíble, Rob y Rebe crean un ambiente muy amigable, siempre hay música en la casa y te hacen sentir muy cómodo enseguida, las tareas son bastante variadas y algunas muy entretenidas, por ejemplo para mí empezar a crear un sendero por la selva en su territorio fue muy bonito. La comida es muy buena, a veces toca cocinar, otras veces lavar, pero siempre entre todos colaboramos con algo. Muy recomendable!!!

La ecovila es un lugar genial para hacer voluntariado. Rob y Rebe son personas super cool que te hacen sentir como en casa. El acceso a las cosas y alimentos de la cocina es un plus y si quieres puedes cocinar! Las instalaciones son muy buenas tanto camarote como carpa y el baño tiene agua caliente. Las tareas son entretenidas y siempre hay musica en el lugar. Me encantó estar ahí!!!

Rob & Rebe (and the doggies) were very welcoming and nice throughout the whole experience, which was a relief since it was my first experience through WorldPackers. Overall, this experience pushed me outside of my comfort zone and was great to disconnect and be truly immersed in the culture and nature of the area.
