The experience

Our dream is creating a permanent home where children can grow, learn and feel safe every single day. Currently, our facilities are limited, and the number of children needing support continues to increase.

What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 12 Per day

Fee pays for: Materials for volunteer activities and Donation to project

Description: volunteers contributes $12 per day to cover some expenses like food, and other needs

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely


Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate English

Between 24 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

European Union Passport

United States visa or citizenship

Travel insurance

Activities & Shift

1. Teaching & Mentorship
Volunteers support the children’s learning through:
• Reading and writing practice
• Basic math exercises
• Creative activities (drawing, music, dance, storytelling, crafts)
• Homework help or exam revision
• Confidence-building activities and emotional support through positive mentorship

Examples:
* Lead a simple reading circle
* Teach a short creative workshop
* Help a small group prepare for tests
* Organize interactive games that teach teamwork

2. Daily Centre Operations
Volunteers help staff keep the centre running smoothly through:
• Meal preparation (washing vegetables, serving food)
• Cleaning shared spaces (classrooms, dormitories, dining areas)
• Organizing donated clothes, toys, books
• Assisting during playtime or rest time

Examples:
* Support the kitchen team during lunch
* Help tidy classrooms or reorganize supplies
* Sort donations by age and category

3. Gardening & Sustainability
We promote self-sustainability through our garden, and volunteers can help with:
• Planting, watering, weeding
• Composting and environmental education
• Maintaining the small livestock or chicken coop (when applicable)

Examples:
* Teach children how to water plants properly
* Help prepare compost
* Clean and organize the garden tools

4. Storytelling, Media & Outreach
Volunteers who are comfortable can also support our communication efforts:
• Taking photos/videos with permission
• Writing short updates or activity summaries
• Helping prepare content for social media or sponsor reports
• Documenting their volunteer experience for our website

Examples:
* Capture daily activities (with approval)
* Record short interviews with staff
* Help write a small story about the children’s achievements
