The experience

We are looking for an experienced and creative volunteer to help share our content across social media platforms.

Your role : adapt and repurpose our existing content (posts, videos, visuals) for different formats and platforms while respecting our visual identity and digital strategy.

You will help ensure our online communication is consistent, engaging, and true to the spirit of our Buddhist meditation center.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate French and Fluent English

Over 19 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

* You'll need your own phone to create some content but we provide to you a computer and a good camera.
* Days off are flexible — we’ll plan them together based on what works best for everyone.
* We’ll define your schedule with the person in charge once you’re here, so it’s personalized and clear.
* Usually, you’ll have activities in the morning and afternoon, with regular check-ins to stay on track and supported.
* Since things can change depending on the center’s priorities and the mission’s needs, we can’t fix the hours ahead of time.
* That said, flexibility is key — we really appreciate volunteers who can adapt and go with the flow!

Activities & Shift

You will work with the Communication Manager on tasks related to content creation and follow the editorial calendar in place. The activities will include creating and adapting content for social media, while becoming familiar with our brand identity and digital strategy. The role requires autonomy, commitment, and motivation to contribute effectively to our project.
