The experience

Casa Mayakaan is looking for a reliable and motivated individual or couple to join our team from November to June, with the possibility of returning each year.
You’ll be part of a project that combines nature, hospitality and human connection — hosting retreats, private groups and special events in a spectacular location.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Fluent Spanish or Intermediate English

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We’re looking for:
- Experience in hospitality, eco-lodges, glamping, guest services or property management
- Fluent Spanish and good English
- Ability to live and work in a remote natural setting, managing daily operations and supporting local staff
- Hands-on, positive and community-minded approach
