Community Care Volunteer: Support kids, Elders & Coastal Village

The experience

Join our small coastal community in Cox’s Bazar and support kids, elders and families. You will spend time with local children, assist elders with simple daily tasks,contribute in family as a leader of the family, and join our human projects Human Library of Bangladesh, Drinking water Issue, ‘Horizon Beyond the Sea’ and ‘100 Smiles’. This is a warm, real cultural exchange where your kindness creates true impact.

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner English

Between 18 and 51 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers
