The experience

Hi! I am looking for an energetic person to join my small family for a couple of weeks. I would love help establishing a very overgrown veggie garden 🌱, some assistance with fencing and painting outside, and support with various small projects around the farm that need attention.

I would also appreciate someone who can cook an occasional meal 👩‍🍳.

I have several small dogs that are house pets and love to be pampered 🐶💕

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 22 and 75 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

I will supply the food for meals, but I may not always be around to prepare them.

Activities & Shift

I am easy-going and happy for you to help your hours when you prefer. I do recommend mornings during the warmer months if helping outside ☀️.

If you are a confident and capable horse rider, there are horses as well!!!🐎

25 hours per week — 2 days off

Rules

Prefer non-smokers. You must supply your own alcohol if required.

During the summer, showers should be kept short due to being on rainwater 🚿💧.
In winter, we try to limit the use of electrical equipment such as kettles since we rely on solar power ☀️⚡.

Please be mindful of these things.
