I had the most amazing, exciting and memorable stay working at the hostel. I really made friends for life with the other volunteers and even some guests. For anyone who is a social butterfly, don't hesitate to volunteer here or at any of the onefams as they are really catered for lots of socialising and fun filled days where you just get to meet so many different types of people. I will always look back on my time in Porto with such a smile and I really can't wait until the next time I get to come back to the hostel. It really is a big family <3. My experience in Porto was my favorite volunteer experience so far! Mel was so welcoming and really cared for me as well as the other staff! The shifts were exactly as described and it felt more like fun than work! I highly recommend this position to anyone interested! I hope to go back one day and work here again! So much love to my Porto family forever!

This was my first volunteer experience and I could not have wished for a better stay! I felt very welcomed right from the start, and the working hours and shifts were as agreed upon and respected. I had an absolute blast with all of the other volunteers and staff. It's an experience that I'll never forget. I already want to go back! Thanks Mel and all of the staff for everything!

My time in the hostel in Porto was absolutely wonderful and incredibly much fun!! I was so happy to be there from the minute I arrived and Mélanie welcomed me very sweet. The hostel is so beautiful, always clean, at a perfect location and most importantly always filled with love and laughter! I met so many fun and inspiring people both staff and guests, which made the experience absolutely amazing! Also did the work not even feel like work most of the time and included lots of fun activities. Thank you to everybody who made my time so unforgettably beautiful!! Lots of love <3

What an incredible experience 🩷 One fam the hostel truly is one fam . I had the most incredible 5 weeks here . The hostel location is perfect, walking distance from everything. The hostel itself is super nice with a very social atmosphere and activities every day so your guaranteed to make good friends and you'll never be bored :) The work is as agreed on and they have the best staff🩷 Couldn't recommend enough, thanks again!

My stay at the hostel was amazing!! The location of the hostel is perfect and the kitchen, common areas etc. are always clean and organized. The working hours were very well respected and the staff was super nice and helpful with any questions or problems. The volunteer team was great and it felt like a family :) Thanks for the great parties, nice talks and amazing friendships Hope to see you soon :))

This was literally the best month of my life. The hostel is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. The work doesn't even feel like work most of the time and the manager Mel is such a kind and caring person. In the hostel I met the coolest guest and became really close friends with the volunteers. It definitely felt like having a family there. I would definitely want to come back at one point.

Overall, I had a great experience. I enjoyed my fellow volunteers and time spending meeting other travelers. I think my only issue was management. I think management needs to improve their attitude towards volunteers. I've had guest come to me saying they thought we were being overworked and the manager was being rude to them.

Oh my, I cannot describe in words how much LOVE I have for this place. The hostel is clean, super well located, has nice common areas, etc. but what REALLY makes the difference is the people. Everyone is so loving, caring, social and fun. From manager (love you Mel🩷), to all the other staff (receptionists, fellow volunteers, cleaning staff), to hostel guests. I felt home so soon and it was incredibly hard to leave. Thanks for amazing parties, great hugs & conversations, and all the friends I made!🥰 My advice to you: stop overthinking and move your ass to the hostel Porto, you won't regret it!!🥳

This was the most amazing experience ever!! I have loved every single second of my stay at the hostel. I met a ton of AMAZING people, both staff and guests, and we really became a little family. Melanie is an amazing manager and very good at communicating the tasks. She is super helpful if you need anything. The location of the hostel is amazing and everything is like a 10-15 min walk away. The work is pretty easy and I did 3-4 shifts a week. If you are a social person you will absolutely LOOOVE this hostel and city!!! Would recommend a thousand times over
