Events & Guest Experience Assistant
The experience
We need someone who’s all about the energy someone who loves talking to people, bringing the crowd together, and making the hostel feel alive. You’ll be helping our event manager run activities, hype up the guests, and keep the vibe flowing. One day it’s a city walk, another day it’s a games night or cooking something together. If you’re social, chill, creative, and not scared to take initiative, you’ll fit right in.
What you offer
30 hours of help per week
Teaching Languages:
Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.
Music:
Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.
Tour Guide:
Organize and lead tours around the city.
Party Promoter:
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Requirements
Fluent English
Between 18 and 35 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
This position follows a simple and enjoyable routine. You’ll work 6 hours per day, with 2 hours in the morning during breakfast to socialize with guests, help create a warm atmosphere, and make sure everyone starts their day with good vibes.
In the evenings, you’ll have 4 hours dedicated to the events of the day. Our activities change daily and weekly, so each day brings something different — city walks, game nights, cooking sessions, movie nights, workshops, or anything creative you want to introduce.
You’ll also have 2 days off per week, giving you plenty of time to explore the city, rest, or enjoy your own adventures.
If you have any special skills, hobbies, or ideas, we’re excited to hear them. Music, art, fitness, food, culture — everything is welcome. Your creativity can shape the vibe of the hostel.
Activities & Shift
Morning Shift (2 hours):
-From breakfast time, interact with guests, welcome newcomers, and create a friendly and engaging atmosphere.
-Help the Event Manager prepare for the day’s activities.
-Support small morning activities or icebreakers if needed.
Evening Shift (4 hours):
-Assist in running daily events and activities for guests. These can include:
-Game nights
-Cooking sessions or food events
-Movie nights
-City walks or local tours
-Workshops or skill-sharing sessions
-Keep the energy high, hype up guests, and make sure everyone feels included.
-Contribute your own ideas and skills to add variety to the events schedule.
Weekly Schedule:
Work 6 hours per day, with 2 days off per week.
Activities rotate daily and weekly, so no two days are the same. Flexibility, creativity, and initiative are key.
Rules
We want everyone to have a safe, fun, and comfortable stay — including our team! Here’s what we expect:
Respect everyone – Guests, volunteers, and staff. Different backgrounds, different cultures, same respect.
Keep it clean – Help maintain shared spaces and rooms. A tidy hostel is a happy hostel.
Be responsible – For your belongings and for your actions. Take initiative, but stay safe.
Guest privacy matters – Don’t share personal info without permission.
No drugs or illegal activity – Keep the hostel safe and fun for everyone.
Noise and vibes – Be mindful of quiet hours, especially late at night.
Have fun, but stay professional – You’re here to create amazing experiences while helping the team run smoothly.
Open communication – If something’s wrong or you need help, talk to the Event Manager or team immediately.
Extra: Your creativity and energy are welcome, but always respect the hostel environment and the comfort of our guests.
