I had a wonderful experience at the hostel, everyone was so kind and ready to help me. the tasks were not difficult and they were various so perfect for dynamic people (like me)!! I learned a lot of new things like staying behind a bar or refilling vending machines. the city is also beautiful and has a lot of things to visit and streets to explore. I enjoyed my stay so much that i wish i stayed longer

I feel very lucky that this was my first world packers experience. Fiona and all the staff were so kind. The tasks and hours are more than fair and reasonable. If you're on the bar you do need to speak a bit of German but there's someone always next to you on reception if you need help. Leipzig it's self is such a cool place, people says it's like Berlins little sibling and I agree. 10/10 fully recommend!! Thank you everyone from the hostel team.

After 2 months volunteering in the hostel, I can only say good things about my experience there All the personal working there, security and volunteers have been nice and friendly to me, even some of them became friends outside work. I always felt included and helped when needed, also listened when I asked for things related to schedules or tasks. Shifts & the weekly 3 free days were always respected by them. It is definitely a chance to learn German and meet people from all around the world, I highly recommend volunteer here. Leipzig is a city with such a young & nice vibe, I will come back!

I absolutely loved my stay there everyone was really welcoming and nice. Thanks to Noah, Fiona, Lisa and others! Everywhere is so close to the hostel so you won't be get tired to seeing around. Everyone is trying to help you and always welcoming. The work and tasks are easy and they are respectful to our working ours which is great! The city is so historical and beatiful. I would love to go back there again had the best time there!! Thanks everyone I have met there :) Vielen dank :))

I had a great time at the hostel. The tasks weren't explained very well by the team, but they have written standards for each one that you can easily read and follow — it's not hard at all. You also get 3 days off, which is perfect to get to know and enjoy Leipzig! As my first experience in Germany, it was really helpful for me to start connecting with locals and the language. Breakfast is included, which is great — just make sure to be on time, because the leftovers disappear quickly haha. Thank you for this experience! :)

I had a great time in Leipzig, all the people I met were lovely and really helpful, both the staff and other volunteers. The room was decent for a hostel, and had a fridge so you didn't need to use the guest kitchen. The shifts were mostly at the bar or helping with breakfast as well as some other random jobs when they were needed. Occasionally you ended up doing more than 25 hours a week if you did lots of long evening shifts. Most guests are German/speak German, so learning the basics is useful. Overall it was a really fun experience, I learnt a lot, and I would highly recommend!

Absolutely recommend the experience, especially for those who are looking to settle down in Germany. It's a good introduction to the German working market and a great way to improve German. The staff is young and absolutely nice, they make the experience a lot more enjoyable. Leipzig is also a fantastic city and the hostel location is perfect, being right in front of the Hauptbahnhof.

I thoroughly recommend volunteering here. The tasks are simple, and if you don't know how to do them, it will be explained to you with patience. The team is nice and there is a good vibe around.
