The experience

Join SYI in Nairobi and take part in a meaningful cultural exchange with our children and youth. This flexible role focuses on sharing your culture, engaging with the community, and supporting fun daily activities.
What you will do;
Share your culture through language, music, food, stories, or simple activities
Spend time with the kids through games, arts, and youth sessions
Support cultural days, workshops, and small community events

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely
