I had a great volunteer experience at the hostel. The hours are good, and the staff is very welcoming!. Its a small team, so you get to know the reception staff well. The comunication through worldpackers went quick and easy. The hostel itself is lovely and you will meet a lot of travelers. Very gratefull for the experience❤️

I painted murals at the hostel. In the end I really enjoyed my time in Hanoi and I am sad to leave it. One of the best parts of this volunteering is the community of volunteers with the sister hostel nearby. The Staff at the hostel is super friendly. Isa, the volunteer manager, is hard working, kind, and always looking out for the volunteers. I think this hostel is in a bit of a transitional period in how they host volunteers, so there is some room for improvement. I will cherish my time at the hostel and in Hanoi!

I had such a good time at the hostel 💓 Right from the start, Isa made me feel welcome, always communicating clearly and genuinely caring about everyone. the hostel has such a cozy vibe—it didn't take me long to feel at ease with the staff and the workload. I loved hearing all the wonderful local stories from Xiang and Anna, and I learned a lot about Vietnamese culture and the best places to eat. The travellers staying at the hostel were all so friendly too, always ready for a game of pool on the second floor and a great chat. Such a sweet experience! I'm gonna miss this place. ⛲️

Working at the hostel is really chill and easy. Isa is responsible for the volunteers and she is super flexible and always arranges the best setting according to our availability. We have nice accommodation (shared dorm) 15' away from the hostel, really nice breakfast, laundry and lots of other benefits.

Didn't have any expectations when I came to volunteer here, but I have really enjoyed it. The staff is nice and welcoming. The work is straight forward and not too much for being a volunteer. I enjoyed working with the Vietnamese women here as well. The best part about working here at the hostel is you end up becoming so close with the volunteers at the sister hostel. I've made friends I will remember forever. It truly all depends on who else is volunteering. I really enjoyed working here and will come back if I am in the position to again.

When I arrived, they were very surprised by my arrival. I was booked in and told that I would be interviewed the next day (without a time and place). Around noon, I requested the interview myself. I was told that there was no such job and that I would be working in the owner's sister's hostel (Bia Hoi Corner Hostel & Rooftop Bar). They didn't know anything about it, but booked me in anyway and didn't treat me well either. Pure ignorance, indifference and disinterest. It was really frustrating! I definitely can't recommend either hostel!

The hostel is calm, and It is a good place to meet international travelers. The tasks and hours are ok, but as it is full everyday, and sometimes overbooked, as the only receptionist at the front desk at some moments, you need to deal with the problems by yourself. The facilities are good and the breakfast is really good!

This volunteering felt so like home, that I extended my stay! The benefits and structure offered are one of the best I've seen. The group of volunteers are big, and it's an amazing vibe between everyone. There is so much to see and enjoy in Hanoi and North Vietnam that the job as content creator is pretty much easy done with a lots of fun! Highly recommend to all travelers, specially those who want to stay long time!

Had a great time volunteering at the hostel! The team is very sweet, the accommodation was clean and breakfast was definitely a plus :) Also the location is very central, so perfect to walk around Hanoi and enjoy the busy streets of the Old Quarters

Everything about this experience was amazing! Candy is the absolute sweetest person ever and the whole team really steps in to help if you ever need it. I've been able to meet some of the most interesting and like minded people while I've stayed here. It was my first experience through worldpackers and it literally could not have been better a 100/10 trip. Everyone welcomed me right from the start and made an effort to include me in activities as we got to know each other better. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone! Loved it so much and the memories I've made here will last forever.
