The experience

We are looking for enthusiastic and creative volunteers to join our team and help plan and host activities for guests staying in our hostels.

You’ll assist with planning and organizing guest activities such as cultural nights, local tours, workshops, games, and community gatherings.
You’ll also help host and engage guests to create a warm, lively, and inclusive atmosphere🌍
Volunteers are encouraged to share ideas to enhance the guest experience

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 50 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We are looking for people who love making new friends, exploring new places, and interacting with others. Our house is very well located and part of the city's heritage. Our activities are very interesting and easy to conduct.

🕒 5 hours per day
📅 6 days a week
📍 Located in the UNESCO Heritage site of George Town, Penang, Malaysia

Rules

🚭 Smoking is strictly prohibited within the property.
🔕 Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am daily.
