The experience

I’m based in Istanbul. Born and raised here, my family and I know the city well and we love meeting people from around the world to exchange cultures 🇹🇷💛.

We try to save gas, water, and electricity as much as possible, and we kindly ask you to respect this too 🌱.
We’d love to teach you Turkish, and in return, you can teach us your language—let’s learn from each other!

What you offer

26 hours of help per week

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Elderly Care: Assisting and spending time with the elderly.

What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 28 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Activities & Shift

We could use your help with simple daily tasks such as:
🧹 Housework
🧺 Laundry
🛒 Shopping
🐾 Taking care of the stray cats that visit us

And of course, you’ll have plenty of time to explore Istanbul—a city that truly never sleeps 🕌✨.
