Program Details

Our volunteer program is designed to connect travelers with Amazigh culture and support the development of a sustainable project in Tagounite. Volunteers help in different areas depending on their skills: assisting guests, helping with cooking, supporting the garden, creating content, or participating in light maintenance around the house. The project is simple, community-based, and focused on sharing traditions, building meaningful moments, and improving our eco-lodge. Volunteers live in a calm desert environment, learn daily life skills, explore local culture, and contribute directly to a positive impact in the region.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers help around 2-3 hours a day. Activities may include:

Welcoming and assisting guests

Helping with cooking and meal preparation

Light cleaning and organization of shared spaces

Supporting gardening or small eco-projects

Taking photos or helping with online content

Helping with small repairs or creative projects
Shifts are flexible and depend on the day's needs. There is plenty of free time to relax, explore the village, take desert walks, or enjoy cultural moments with the family. We aim for a smooth balance between work and relaxation.

Rules

We ask volunteers to respect the local culture, the family, and everyone sharing the space. Keep common areas clean, communicate openly, and stay flexible as tasks may change with the day. A positive attitude, kindness toward guests, and willingness to help are essential. We encourage calm nights, moderate alcohol use, and a peaceful atmosphere so everyone can enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay.
