The experience

We’re looking for dedicated, hands-on volunteers to help improve our house at the historical center of San Isidro, Buenos Aires.

Tasks include general maintenance, gardening, painting, decorating, organizing and cleaning spaces, managing social media, photography, cooking, recycling & upcycling, carpentry and metalworking.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Intermediate English

Between 18 and 38 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Argentina

Program Details

Kore is a new project centered around DIY philosophy, Arts, and social gatherings.

Different areas in the colonial house are being repurposed for different activities and side-projects:
Workshops, an atelier, a vegetable garden, an artificial pond, painting and sculpture exhibition areas, a dancefloor, etc.

Activities & Shift

Work is expected in the following hours, though sometimes it can be more flexible:

Shift 1: 9am-12 & 13-15hs.
Shift 2: 14-19hs

Saturdays and Sundays off.

Rules

No guests unless previously approved
Day starts at 8am for breakfast, please don't oversleep unless you're doing Shift 2.

House chores like helping cooking, cleaning common areas etc, are not included in the work hours but are part of co-living.

Please keep your room tidy and take care of it for the next volunteers!
