The experience

We looking for help with our land management and regeneration on Pico, in the Azores.
We have a beautiful forest that in at the minute impenetrable, we want to create a thriving biodiverse forest with fruit trees. We need your help to achieve this!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We would work with land clearing for 4 hours a day. Using machinery and elbow grease.
You would learn about the local forna and flora.

Activities & Shift

Daily activity would be tree cutting and land management.
Rock wall building.
Planting.
Shifts would be weather dependent.
But 4 hours in the mornings.
