🌱 Community Projects: Make a Real Impact Together - Mwanza, TZ

The experience

We're looking for volunteers who can share their skills and knowledge with us during their stay. With your experience and specialties, you'll help us with:
📝 Writing project proposals
💰 Supporting fundraising and resource mobilization
👗 Supervising community projects, such as tailoring projects for women
📒 Visiting streets and schools to distribute materials like exercise books

We'll be happy to share experiences with you and work together

What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: We ask our volunteer to contribute 10 us dollars per day to cover for food(3 meals per day), accommodation (private bed just for you) And financing our projects

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Swahili

Between 18 and 75 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Activities & Shift

Our volunteers will collaborate with our local staff in:

- Writing grant proposals
- Site supervision of our projects
- Helping with fundraising and resource mobilization
- Teaching languages
- Teaching basic computer classes
- Visiting people in need in the community and delivering clothes, food, exercise books, and books for students and children

📅 The timetable will depend on the volunteer.
