What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

Have a unique experience of stargazing while sleeping in the desert away from light pollution, where the sky turns magical. Here you will also witness majestic sunset and sunrise as you see how to care for our adorable camels. You can also help us in managing our website and social media. If you're a photography lover, you can do some photography for us. You can also teach some language basics to our staff.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers for this position are mostly needed during the day, 5 hours a day for 4 days, not exceeding 20 hours per week. This schedule allows you at least 2 days off per week to have enough time to immerse yourself in our local culture and explore our humble town. Just as we take care of our clients, we treat our volunteers not just as part of our workforce but also as part of our growing family. Therefore, we want to ensure that, beyond the beauty of volunteerism, you also enjoy a wonderful experience exploring the beauty of Jaisalmer during your stay.

Rules

Outside food and drink are not allowed. We expect everyone to
maintain a healthy and friendly working environment within
the premises, where everyone shows respect toward the guests,
fellow volunteers, and hostel staff.
