The experience

Sickle cell disease is a genetic disorder affecting millions in Africa. lets come together to support those battling this condition. your contribution can help provide medical care, education, and resources to improve the lives of sickle cell warriors. join the movement and make a difference. through fun, counselling, and other physical activities we can bring a smile to everyone.


What you offer

19 hours of help per week

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Program Details

Our volunteer program is designed to make tangible impact in the lives of sickle cell warriors in Africa.
Volunteer opportunities :
1. Fundraising and events: help organize and participate in fundraising events, awareness campaign, and charity runs.
2. Mentorship: share your experience and expertise with young sickle cell warriors, offering guidance and support.
3. Content creation: use your writing, design , or social media skills to create engaging content, raise awareness, and promote our cause
4. Medical professionals: Doctors, nurses , and medical students can contribute by providing medical consultations, conducting workshops, and sharing expertise.
5. Administrative support: assist with data entry, research, and administrative tasks to help our team focus on high-impact activities.


Activities & Shift

1. Conduct consultations with patients and families
2. Develop and share educational resources on sickle cell management.
3. collaborate with local health care teams to improve patient care
4. Brain storm and plan fundraising events and campaigns
5. Reach out to potential donors
6. Design graphics , videos, and infographics
7. Write blog posts, articles , and social media content.
8. Share resources and opportunities for growth
9.Assist with data entry and data base management.
10. Connect with mentees and schedule regular check-ins.
