Zostel is looking for young, passionate explorers ✈️ who want more than just a trip. We’re inviting you to live the hostel life, build community, host experiences , and become the spark that turns strangers into friends.

What you offer

22 hours of help per week

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Intermediate English or Beginner Hindi

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

As a Vibe Curator, you’ll host activities, build community, learn how travellers connect, and become the reason strangers turn into friends. 🎲 It’s hands-on experience with people, culture & community!

You’ll get to travel across India 🇮🇳 (and even join opportunities abroad 🌍✈️), meet travellers from dozens of nationalities, and live the backpacker lifestyle from the inside.

In exchange, you bring your energy, ideas, and personality to summon vibes alive with conversations, events, and moments people remember.⚡

Activities & Shift

Your days won’t be 9–5! they’ll be moments strung together with travellers, conversations, and creativity.

A typical day looks like:
🎬 Core Activities

- Welcoming guests & giving them the “insider” Zostel tour
- Keeping the activity calender filled with 2+ experiences daily: chai circles, treks, games, jam nights, movie screenings, & more.
- Creating content (reels, photos, stories) for Socials
- Keeping hostel groups active with updates on event info
- Helping the team gather guest feedback & ensuring everyone feels included ❤️
