The experience

Would you love to spend a season on a beautiful organic Irish estate surrounded by horses, flowers, and great company? 🌾🌼

Welcome to our 200-acre organic farm and equestrian haven, located in the heart of County Galway, Ireland. You’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills in the vegetable garden, grow flowers, make bouquets, and even help around the horses if you’d like! 🐎🌷


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

🌿 About Us

Our farm is home to:
• An Equestrian Centre with around 70 horses, offering lessons, trail rides, and even hosting Eventing Ireland competitions.
• An Organic Vegetable and Flower Garden, where we grow seasonal produce and beautiful blooms for handmade bouquets.
• A Historic Georgian House (built in 1780) with 10 guest rooms, welcoming guests from all over the world for holidays and events.
• Our own lake, river, pond, hounds, and plenty of green countryside to explore.

We’re a family-oriented and friendly team who love to share meals, stories, and laughter together in the evenings.


🌷 Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking one or two enthusiastic female volunteers (aged 18+) to join us for the 2026 season.
If you love nature, animals, and meeting new people, this could be the perfect adventure for you!

Activities & Shift

🌼 What You’ll Do

You’ll help out with a variety of tasks, depending on your interests and skills, such as:
• Assisting around the house and with guests.
• Helping in the organic vegetable and flower gardens — learning how to grow food and flowers naturally.
• Making beautiful flower bouquets and helping with our small farm shop.
• Optionally helping with the animals and horses if you’d like (no experience needed!).


Tasks could be:
Planting and harvesting vegetables and flowers, processing the produce in our farm kitchen, creating bouquets, helping with the horses and around the house with guests.

And if you’ve ever dreamed of riding horses — this is your chance! You’ll have opportunities to learn to ride or take part in equestrian activities if you wish🌾🐎
